After Boxing 5 Shamans in BC, i wanted to start back up boxing, but I'm having a hard time deciding on what to make now.

I want to be able to PvE/Instance, but also be able to go into Arena's and BGs and not get wrecked. (Basically, always have smoething to do instead of forever waiting for Queues).

I know 1 Healer and 4 Warriors/DKs are the flavor of the month, and for good reason, they seem to be a pretty powerful combo. But I really don't want to just be another of the 'norm'.

My main acct has a 85 Feral Druid, 85 Resto Shaman, 84 Prot Pally, 83 Rogue, 80 Priest and DK.

My question is, would transferring 4 of of those characters to my other accounts and try to form a mixed group work in that makeup (course 1 gets dropped)? They (mixed groups) seem to be very hit or miss on if they can be good combos.

I was also thinking about rushing warlocks (always seemed interesting to me) or hunters, but they can't level through the LFD. LFD is a big thing for me, the less travel time the better.

Thoughts or opinions?

Thanks.

Feral Druids (Bear) + Resto Shaman for boxing is great. I did it most of Wrath.

If you want to be able to queue for the dungeon finder but also be decent in PvP, you could probably do:

5 Druids - 5x feral or 5x boomkin for PvP or PvE, or 1 bear, 3 boomkins, 1 tree for PvE. Apparently someone has done heroics with 5 bears as well.

5 Paladins - 5 Ret for PvP or PvE, or 1 prot, 3 ret, 1 holy for PvE.

4 Warriors 1 Paladin (or other healer)

4 DK's 1 Paladin (or other healer)

Any team with 4 shamans and a tank/healer should be fine too.

I used to strongly be against doing the whole "flavor of the month" thing, but there really is reason why people are doing it. It just plain sucks not being viable and having invested the time to level 5 characters to 85. Either that or you are a multiboxing genius and can do well with any team (or a mixed team). For the rest of us, I would recommend sticking to something tried and true. And for PvP, the reality is multiboxers are infinitely more susceptible to nerfs and buffs than the rest of the WoW population :P We rely so much on burst and gimmicks, and Blizzard's stance on burst damage once they added Resilience is that they pretty much think it shouldn't exist.
