How do you guys deal with the haters?

Last week was a fun week with regards to PvP, did real well, and was usually in the top spots for both HK and Killing blows. Got a nice chunk of Honor. I stayed with the 15+ battlegrounds as I thought that being one of the crowd rather than a large portion of the battlefield would make me less noticeable(I only MB 3 enh shamen). So I was rather stoked that this weekend was AB weekend. On friday it was a few haters but they shut up fast when I actually managed with a healer to defend GM with 4 vs 6 consistently, and always either held the 2 out of the 3 top positions, or at least 3 of 5. Saturday I didn't do any BGs as I was busy with other stuff. Sunday was horrible, wherever I went there haters and they were vocal no matter how well I did.

I'm starting to think that I am not really the personality type that can handle the haters. it just makes me pissed off and log off.

Do you guys just ignore them, or?

If this continues I'll solo PvP for the honor, and try my hand at 3v3s when the next season starts, at least then I won't have to listen to the BS some people come up with.

Ye.ther are like a ton of haters,
if we loose a BG, eventho im on top in BK, capped bases / def. bases in ab.. i still get haters, that say im the reason we lost.. normaly i dont say anything, i just do a " lol " and move on.

If everything is going well it is fun. I have had issues when configuring my interface that have led to me not feeling like I was makihng a contribution so I would /afk out until I resolved my problems. But if you are doing well and working towards the BG goals of capping points, defending or escourting the FC don't worry about it. Most multi-boxers work towards the BG goals vice a huntard just farming HKs at the GY in WSG for instance. When in doubt open up your chat settings and turn off off that channel.

I like WSG a lot with 1 pala and 4 warriors - sure i'm half the team but I usually hang about mid field farming, meaning I can destroy the EFC as he runs past and stop people from chasing our FC.

Yes, I ignore them. BGs are often full of idiots who pollute the BG chat channel with their stupidity. If they weren't bitching at you for multiboxing, they'd be bitching at everyone else for "sucking" "being bad" "being lolfail" or similar complaints. These are the people who spend 99% of their time typing while they wait on a res, and for some reason they think that it's everyone else's fault that things are not going well.

Just remember: they are stupid. They are clueless, mouth-breathing, knuckle-dragging mongoloids with extremely sandy vaginas coupled with, of all things, a superiority complex. They are worth exactly zero seconds of your time. Keep rocking the BGs and remember those guys don't really exist.

I have no idea what BG chat is anymore. IDC if we win or not. I go in to impress myself with getting better. Having fun has been my hobby for more than 2 yrs now. I love it.

Haha, I'll do the same thing. Blizzard claims that enough of those small temp bans will eventually end up as a
permanent ban but, seeing as I don't follow these haters around I have no idea what really happens to them.

a good trick is just to kick them, since ur 5 ppl. u can put a inaktive debuff on them, and if they are out of combat 60sec, they are gone. I do that alot.

well.. if u have same raid UI on alle 5 clients, its just mouse repeat.

Yeah, I use grid to just show my team, so I would have to enable a different layout to make the gui visible.

Aslong as you have your targeframe at the same place on all the toons, a simple right click on the targetframe should suffice? I don't see how grid or your team matter? :)

I just targeted on main, made slaves assist and broadcast mouse -> right click and report.

I tend to troll them mostly for my own laughs though.

Note that it's not entirely legal though, to report people afk when they're obviously not.

Quoted for exactly what I do. Half the time they aren't doing anything while raging at you, and get kicked. Problem solved. Apart from that, haters don't bother me at all, if anything, they amuse me.

As for the reporting afk, for those that don't have mouse repeats, there are 2 macros. 1 to report everyone, and 2 to report your target. I'll try and find them, I have them somewhere.

AB weekend: sure being in the 80-84 bracket i died alot, mainly due to bad raid frames, but once i got grid and clique perfect (thanks Fenril, Apps and Ualla) i got better, even if i did lose alot more than i won. respecced into earth's Grasp which is helping a ton with melee :D bring on next 2 weekend eots and AV ( will be 85 and gearing)

Long ago it used too bother/annoy me, these days I know what and why I am logging in to wow.

When I am there too pvp, im paying to play my way, and I play the BG the way it should be, cap, defend, assist fc etc.

Usually if its messy and you can tell not long into th egame I hit my macro, that has messages like, "Come on, Stay as a Mass Group and we WIN" various kinds, it tends to help and often have turnt games around like that.

Idiotic immature stupid waste of time comments is because some fuckn kid behind his screen wants to be carried and is crying his ass off, he isnt getting easy win, honor etc... I dont have time to bother to respond because all it does is encourage others too do same and less focusing on what we all there to do.

Best I fnd is just make a helpful macro, to try and encourage the team and go about your business and ignore the chat of bullshit.

Earlier I qeued random BG on my 3 ele shammys, fiance on his mage and a guildie onhis priest healer, we got WSG, we decided too stay in the flag room ours at the start and defend, as its not commonly expected.

Team not long into game started crying about 5 ppl going to cost us the game... ally comes into flag room, only 2-3 at a time and are nuked.... pause 1-3 more come, nuked again, by then not long after our FC is entering our flag room with the flag ready to cap while ally never managed to get the flag once. We won, 3 capped like this... end of the round no one said anything, lol.

Somestimes it works sometimes not.

People are just angry, bored, immature and have no fucking drive or patience to play as a "TEAM" and want it all handed to them instanty.

Feed a macro of something positive too encourage the team, dont waste your time on these morons, its so not worth it.

Sometimes when Im in the mood, we take my 3 shamys and my disc priest and my fiances mage, into Molten front dailys just too harass alliance, and wow some of the whipsers i have got when they switch to a level 1 horde toon, "you think your fucking cool you phat fuck, i bet you never leave your house" and all kinds of amusing things.. and worse. All I ever say is, I am looking forward too seeing you again VERY SOON :)

I never responded to anyone, and I usually had BG chat turned off. Sometimes people would follow me around in a BG and /say or spam emotes, I had a 5x AFK debuff macro - that would always make them leave to get into combat. But, after awhile even that wasn't worth the effort.

There's still too many of these posts: how do you deal and/or win with haters. You don't. You don't deal with them, reason with them...you don't even acknowledge their existence; nothing is worse than being ignored. You're multiboxing for your own reasons, and hopefully none of those are to convince anonymous people online of anything.

I have always wondered how sick in the head (and/or nolife) one has to be to make lvl 1 alts on opposite faction and start whispering nonsense to my characters.

I mean these players must have too much spare time to spend when they can afford to just bitch at me in game for a good 10-15 minutes.

Those whiners don't get that them crying usually just amuses me and I feed on their sweet tears for my "kicks". I always try to get them to rage enough hateful comments and swear words for logs and then report for a 72 hour ban.

I dont get the hate as much only dualboxing two priests, although i do get the /spit -called a botter. - BUT just as often or even more so, i get people asking questions about multiboxing and think it's pretty cool. Either way, boxing attracts attention!

I have to think the haters are the ones who dont like multiboxers because they attract attention away from their own toon and they have no control over this except to cast hate on chat.

What he said :D ...some ppl will always compain, i dont give them any response unless they are right infront of me. Then i usually nods and laugh, etc.. i keep playing tho =) If anyone wanna follow me around, its really not my problem.
