Whenever i click a link here it will open up in the current window i'm looking at (I'm using latest version of firefox). For example if I'm browsing the forums and see a link and i click on it then the link opens on the current page making the forums go away. Im not sure if its me or the website, I'm pretty sure its the website because on other sites like Blizzard it will open up in a new tab. Also im not sure were to put this as there is no website/forum request or thoughts area. Then again i might just be blind.

In order for a link to open in a new window it must have the target="_blank" or some other tag like that. I am assuming that for the most part people don't add the tag to their links. Blizzard does this because they intercept links to give you the security warning.

Iv also seen other sites that just pop it open in a new tab. Not sure about the "_Blank"

I think that the admins will just have to flip a switch to allow it to open in a new since the forum doesn't allow straight HTML.

so instead of you clicking Ctrl+ link you would like the admins of this site to do the work for you .

why not just hire someone to do the mouse clicking for you as well as read out the titles and contents of each thread or better yet not be lazy .

If yer running firefox, simply right-click the link and click "Open in new tab", make it a habit like I have ;p

I do that currently, instead of CTRL i use my middle mouse, it opens a new one for me. Im just saying a fix like that will make the website feel and look better overall.

I'll see what we can do to make that change~

While you're here Ellay, some of the stickies need editing or cleaning up; there's some that still use links to the OLD forums(forums2/viewtopic?=xxxx type links instead of the current forums/index.php?form=etc urls); aka, the FAQ/reference links lead to invalid urls, I don't remember which it is but it's kinda time for a cleanup anyways, we have a whole screen of stickies on general alone lol
