Hi guys

I'm pretty new to multiboxing (started a couple of weeks ago) and I've got a pair of mages to level 40 pretty quick but I wanted to try something a little more complicated.

I'd like to try a tank and healer combo, probably both paladins as I know the class better than others.

I was just wondering which would be easiest as my master, tank or healer? I would probably prefer to have tank as slave but I'm easy either way, I'm trying to keep things as simple as possible for myself while I'm learning.

I will be using ISBoxer and plan on using healbot to help with the healing and maybe test out isboxers click bars once I'm happy everything else is running ok.

also a related question, I'm sure I remember reading through a guide on setting up melee slaves etc using wows click to move, but I can't for the life of me find it! any chance someone could link me to a good guide?

Thanks a million

Just depends on what works better for you. Why not try it both ways?

some people add the tank to the melee ATG and just IWT more. Keep the healer apart, and click your dps / threat builders, and heal.

some people prefer to send in a specific ATG, Tank, and use clicks, or grid, and regions to heal with mouseovers, or use specific keybinds and even still use macros.

Either way works... what do you want to do?

I'm not quite sure what I want to do, I will probably end up trying both ways.
I was just wondering if one way was better/easier than the other.
I will probably base my final decision on how easy it is to control the tank whilst playing as healer and vice versa, I do like having a better view of everything that's happening so using the healer as master does appeal more.

If you're only playing two, tank will probably end up being the better choice as you'll want to be able to micromange the tank more against an overzealous group of DPS. Especially if you want to avoid issues with slave running or getting stuck out of range.

Click to move is under Blizzard Mouse Options {ESC > Interface > Game {Not Addons} > Mouse}

Now go to Key Bindings {ESC > Key Bindings} and look for the Targeting Functions section. Near the bottom of that section, you will find Interact With Target. Set this on your as well.

Or do it in ISboxer. http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=44313&highlight=click+move

I've been toying with driving from the healer in PvE situations(not instances), and it works well when questing, but when doing instances you want the extra control. Reason being that positioning is so important as you only block and parry attacks from mobs in front of you, dodging I think works in a 360 way(but not sure). So by using IWT you might end up with having your back to most the mobs and healing becomes really hard.

Ok thanks everyone for the tips, and it turned out I had all the settings for click to move on, only played a couple of levels worth last night but it worked really well, looking forward to starting instances with these two!
