Eve 8box mining - quick vid

Me mining a medium size belt in Eve, ~40 minutes total, but sped up.

Group composition as follows:
3 hulks
3 covetors
1 orca
1 itty v

The itty is quite busy with this team, in the video that is the purple square constantly moving around in/out of the belt. Luckily that pilot is fully trained for an Orca, so she will be switching once I have the funds to buy the second Orca.

As with the itty, I too am very busy. Mining with just 3 hulks was a snoozefest for a while. Adding 3 more miners has increased my workload quite a bit, and I find that I have no time to do anything but manage the miners. Whereas previously I could watch youtube, play another game, etc., while mining. Once those covetor pilots are in hulks with t2 strips, I will then have to manage 6 hulks and 18 different crystals >.<

I f'd up the video towards the end and it repeats some of the end, doh.

pretty cool man. i had similar ambitions until ccp temp banned me and i discovered i could make more money shooting stuff that shot back :)

you gotta be careful as hell mining with that setup, makes me a little suicide ganky just looking at it and im not a suicide ganker

Yeah, I put tanks on the expensive ships, but the itty and covetors would be blown to bits. However, if someone managed to kill them all I would most definitely quit Eve that day. Not due to being mad or raging (I'd be thoroughly impressed, and would hopefully FRAPS my glorious death) - I just do not want to start over.

God yes. But at least in this vid it kinda goes with the music. :)
