Normally I rely upon Lax to solve my newb questions on the chat server, but was unable to connect to it today for some reason.

Here is my situation.

I have set up a mark system for my 5 mage team. I set it up initially with using my G110 keys, but then followed the guide that runtu (Beeq) posted here (http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=44359) to my questions and set it up exactly like he has it set up.

I still encountered the same problem.

Slot 3 and Slot 4 do not assist to mark the target. When I click Shift-F3 or Shift-F4 nothing happens. I can go to that window with my main mage having a target selected and manually click the button I have for Shift-F3 or Shift-F4 and they assist/focus/mark just fine.

There is something wrong in the communication from my main screen to those two clients. Although they assist fine when targeting a mob and attacking.

They also sheep the target they have once I have manually gone to their screen and clicked the button marked Shift-F3 or F4 and revert back to my main screen and hit my polymorph button.

I can't for the life of me figure it out and it's driving me crazy and I'm losing level up time!

Anyone have any ideas?

The chat is currently up for me.
I logged in, around 13:40 PDT and am still in the chat.

Nothing is coming up for me when I click the Chat button on the Lavishsoft home page. OH I bet I need to be logged in for it to work.

I can't find a place to log in so that can't be it.

I even downloaded an IRC free client and tried logging in directly to irc.lavishsoft.com and that didn't work either.

I just use: http://isboxer.com/index.php/chat
Not sure why it wouldn't be working for you.

I was using IE 9 - didn't work with that at all. Told Lax.

Using firefox it works fine. Thanks for your help.

OK, so up in the address bar, click the "Compatibility mode" icon next to the refresh button. That should fix it. I just verified it refused to work (blank chat window) until I turned on compatibility view, then it worked fine in my IE9 (build 9.0.8112.16421 64-bit).

And it requires you not to be behind a firewall because the chat is served from the following:
lavishsoft.com:9090

So it doesn't work here in the office.

(but I use IRSSI on shell anyway)

We have gotten sidetracked from my problem!

I did get into chat using firefox so all is good there.

Lax wasn't able to pinpoint why I am having and continue to have the no assist from slots 3 and 4, but only when trying to use the assist/focus/mark macro.

Any ideas?

If it's any consolation, one of the things I'm planning on adding to ISBoxer 39 (by popular demand) is a way to view keystrokes getting sent to each window. So if you don't figure it out by the time that feature is added, at least that will verify whether the keystroke is or is not, in fact, passing as you have intended.

Your ISBoxer config looks right and I see no reason why they wouldn't get the keystrokes, so at the moment I am still pointing at the conflicting key bindings (in this case the game's pet hotkeys)

Edit: I just noticed in your post on here you are saying you're "clicking" when you do it manually, am I reading that right? This is why I want your ISBoxer hotkey to be different than the game's hotkey, so it is possible to test which part between the two isn't working ;)

On the three that work I just press Shift-F1, Shift-F2 or Shift-F5 and they work as intended. For the two that do not work, I select the mob that I want slot 3 or 4 to target/focus/mark and then change to their respective window and "click" (move my mouse over the macro that's on Shift-F3 or Shift-F4 depending upon which window I am in) that macro. It does then what it's supposed to do through my main window, which is assists main mage, sets that target as focus, then marks it with it's correct mark. I have to do the same thing for the other one as well. Then I can go back to my main window, press my sheep macro and they all work as intended. All 5 mages sheep their focused target. Then I can select what I want to attack and each mage assists me and kills that target. I can repress the sheep macro at any time and they all still sheep their target (unless it is dead).

I went into key bindings and made sure that Shift-F1 through F5 were not assigned to anything.

Tonight I'm going to try and change the action bar and see if it works on a different one. Maybe something on that action bar is wonky.
