2 Box - 3 Box?

Hello!

I want to get started with Rift, I played when it first came out.. played a Riftstalker until level 19 and quit.

I am now eager to start Rift anew again, but this time multiboxing! I'm thinking of either a 2 box or 3 box.. I'm not sure what combo's are good though? There is not alot of info on Rift and multiboxing. I found lax's get started threads, so I know how to get started and all, I just need some combo's!

I heard Necro/Warlock x2 is really strong, but I don't think I want to have two 50's of the same class. Is there any other combo? I played the Bard until level 5, and was really loving it. This was single play. Is there a combo that can include the bard perhaps?

When your talking about doing less than a full group. almost any combo works. I think casters are easier..due to being ranged ( or ranged rogues ) If you do bards, its easier to play all your bots as rogs due to the primary DPS/Heal being a channeled heal(Cadence).

Bard/rangers are great for for questiing..rift hunting or dailies. They have a rez now as well. so that helps a lot. Whatever you pick.. having a healer in the mix makes things easier as well. I have not played in of the mage class/specs yet.. i plan to level a full team of them at some point, but i hear warlock/necros are good due to pets and self heals.

I just started 3 boxing rift as well, I have necro/lock team up to level 16, have done 2 warfronts so far, no self heal yet so I died a few times more than I should but I still got 26 and 23 kills in them.

I have 3 inqus/justicars I started too, that seems fun.

I want to try ranged rogues as well...

So many combos.

Razer naga mouse helps out a ton.

I use a mix team just for the synergy of buffs elementalist/stormcaller has very good aoe and single target dps. Also ranger/marks/sin ranged rogue works very very good now. and if u want to do all ranged ju can do a hybrid clerc class for dps and heals.

Yeah, necro/lock isn't fun until you get Soul Purge. Then it's like wtfpwn.

I agree any combo should be fine except two warriors. I would personally prefer two ranged specs though. Going melee seems like a lot of hassle to me, especially if you like PvP:ing... Cleric seems most flexible to me, but I haven't played cleric much...

I'd suggest a warrior tank (some combo of paladin/warlord/reaver), a chloro/necro and a ranger/bard if you are going to 3 box.

^agree with this other then i would do chloro/archon for some really awsome buffs and CDs.
