Keyclone,

Might be useful to add a configurable delay to the round robin feature. While playing on my 5 priests, a lot of times I'll end up with a couple of fears at the same time (admittedly, my fault) due to the historical spamming on a hotkey to deal with GCD. Nothing urgent - most people might not even care - but the ability to set a 1-10 second delay on a particular key would be nice.

Unlikely to happen, keypress delays like that fall afoul of Blizzard's EULA for automated gameplay.

sorry Xev, not going to happen. that would be getting into the area of 'timed actions'... which is strictly off limits.

Well, not really seeing where the distinction between a pure round-robin keypress vs one that keeps the key locked to a particular client for X seconds.

Key is pointing to client A - press key (multiple times) - key stays mapped to client A for 1 second then moves to client B.

/shrug, I'll cope. ;)

I see what he's asking... he's not asking for you to Press the A key, wait 5 seconds and have A sent...

He's saying that instead of round robin triggering on keyup, have it trigger on keyup + 5 seconds.

I can see this being useful... and not violating any spirit or letter of the TOS... but it does get into the really hard to explain and come across clearly category.

I have a tendancy to spam buttons myself, so round robin would flip from one to the next even if I was spamming A to cast counterspell but the mage was on GCD or something, an X second buffer before RR rotation would eliminate that.... it would also stop you from being able to spam RR to launch spells rapidly.

What I basically need is a key to client debounce feature - *optionally* configured on a per round robin key basis.

If I set the 'A' key to 1 second or even .5 seconds, no matter how many times I pressed the 'A' key in that period - it would go to the client it was pointing at and then move to the next one.

Make sense?

That would be a neat feature (would stop me from accidentally dropping two earth-bind totems :) ); however, I think I agree we shouldn't go here.

It's my personal opinion that the round-robin feature is flirting with automation already, and every step we take towards more "intelligence" in the tools we use, the more likely The Man is going to step in a shut it down. Call me paranoid, but I'd rather just play it safe.
