First Off,:I have been to battle clinic. Their search function seems less than perfect.

I just picked up my first Drake for my mission runner. What is a reasonable fit for it?
Currently I'm running with:

7x named heavy missile launchers.
1x Tractor Beam

2x large T2 Shield extenders
1x named shield recharge module
2x T2 mission specific active hardeners.
1x T1 target painter

2x T2 Ballistic Control System
1x Overdrive (for lack of better item)
1 empty.

I am training towards T2 drones. I don't have any rigging skills yet.

Anything I'm missing for level 3 missions?

Fine.

Demonstrate the weakness of my search-fu. ;)

Thank you for the response. I must have had the "wacky fits only" box checked.

If you use evemon you can open a plan up for a toon and then go to a particular ship and there's a link at the top to battleclinic fits for that ship. You can look at the highest rated fits as well as ordering the fits by date. Passive tanked drakes are stupidly powerful for pve.

From memory (I'm nowhere near my beloved EFT) the low-skill cookie-cutter L3 drake:

lows:
2x Shield Power Relay
2x Ballistic Control System

mids:
2x Large Shield Extender
2x Shield Recharger
2x Invulnerability Field (there is no need for mission specific hardeners with this setup)

highs:
7x Heavy Missile Launcher of your choice
1x whatever (I'd recommend a Drone Link Augmenter)

rigs:
3x Core Defense Field Purger

5x Hobgoblin

For battleclinic I generally recommend to stay away from that because alot of the setups there are really bad (even the high rated ones) for newish players.
If you are looking for missions fittings a good source is the EVE University Wiki (since you seem to fly caldari http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Caldari_Basic_Ship_and_Skill_Guide).

EDIT: on rigging skills
1) they are important train those fast ;)
2) you need the rigging skill only to apply the rig module to your ships hull once it is there you can pilot the ship and still get the rig bonus. So you can basically get the hull rigged by someone else or just buy a rigged hull from contracts.

Basic passive shield tank is almost always 2x Invuln + as many extenders as you can fit - works on most ships with shields - after that it's just getting the best modules you can squeeze in.

My drakes ran this and had zero problems with the exception of the bonus room in Angel Extravaganza:

[Drake, New Setup 1]
Shield Power Relay II
Shield Power Relay II
Shield Power Relay II
Shield Power Relay II

Large Shield Extender II
Large Shield Extender II
Heat Dissipation Amplifier II
Kinetic Deflection Amplifier II
Kinetic Deflection Amplifier II
[empty med slot]

Heavy Missile Launcher I, Thunderbolt Heavy Missile
Heavy Missile Launcher I, Thunderbolt Heavy Missile
Heavy Missile Launcher I, Thunderbolt Heavy Missile
Heavy Missile Launcher I, Thunderbolt Heavy Missile
Heavy Missile Launcher I, Thunderbolt Heavy Missile
Heavy Missile Launcher I, Thunderbolt Heavy Missile
Heavy Missile Launcher I, Thunderbolt Heavy Missile
[empty high slot]

Medium Core Defence Field Purger I
Medium Core Defence Field Purger I
Medium Core Defence Field Purger I

Hobgoblin II x5

Until you get T2 shield skills (not all that hard or long to train) just used the best named items you can afford.

[edit] Obviously, swap out the resist amplifiers for mission-specific resists after consulting http://eve-survival.org/wikka.php?wakka=MissionReports.

Empty medium slot on a shield tanker? That's a cardinal sin!
