Hello everyone
A few days ago I hit 85 on my 5 dks dropped one and added my holy pally. First time playing a mixed team my two teams I've played from TBC are 5 Shamans or 5 Druids. So far I love the dks just like everyone said it's the most fun I've had boxing since TBC it's is bring new life to the game. I just had a few questions about how to track your dks cooldowns since my pally is on the main screen? Or and help, tips or macros for a boxer that's been playing 5 of the same class. Once I get back home I'll post my macros and keysbinds so you can see what and how I'm doing things.
The things I really want to know if there are
Macros for team that anyone found that really helps?
Addons out there to help track runes CDs or if it would be best to use the video feed?
As well as any tips I could do in isboxer to smooth out game play for the team
Sorry for the wall of text
Thank you everyone

I don't want to sound like an asshole and be the anti-Ualaa... but there are dozens of threads with this information, and TONS of it... including a thread by Ualaa in the general section.
Search function :)
Edit: so i'm not a total douche

My setup, based on Mosg2's Manifesto's; the thread Shodokan mentioned: http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=37658
I had a thread, asking how I could improve my team in arena: http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=36048

read those threads.
copy the setup.
then just play play play.
record your arena matches. find your mistakes. look for key moments and information during the battle. Make conscious effort in not making the mistakes and looking for key informations for future matches.
finally, knowing this is a video game after all. How good you are is capped by your reaction time and apm (action per min). No matter how much you practice, if you can't bring your APM up. you are not going to win.

If arenas are your focus, prepare to spend potentially 200-300 matches before you're even *decent* at the team. Running all 5 including a healer is fvcking *hard*, even if you minimize all the decision trees with macro and spam buttons. I mean, right now I basically have to hit 3-4 buttons max for an arena game and I'm still only at 1750 (and a bit behind the gear curve, but still).
It's all about getting comfortable with it. I hated running a healer main at first, now I can't imagine a more efficient way to run the team.
I've been experimenting with the Holy paladin spam-healing macros as described by both MosG and Ualaa. It seems to work well, but I've noticed my holy paladins runs out of mana *very* quickly. Those Flash of Light spells aren't cheap. Perhaps this is just a gear issue or should I be reforging more spirit into my gear, how much mana regen are you folks running with that have been doing this?

This is very true... if you run into a rogue comp with 2 healers and are full vicious prepare to lose. At 1900+ this is a majority of what i face :(

To actually have your mana last longer, you need to Judge Mana.
Your judgement is on a 10 second cooldown, so I have it part of my spam sequence. It works well for me and I have plenty of mana to use.

I love being able to "run away" with my pally when he is being focused all while DKs are going to town on my target.

thank you all for your feed back I have everything up and running. I just have one more question I'm using the set up that Ualaa is using I have one small thing to fix with it that I cant get right.
Quick run down on how I have things set up
I've followed Ualaa set up and his videos to the tee.
I'm using two DPS bars
bar one looks like HB,HB,NS,POF macro, BS and the MF set up going off every 2.5 sec
bar two looks like OB,OB,OB POF macro, BS, then the HC and i have that set up just like MF going off every 5.2 sec
and a 3rd just for DS
the problem I've been having is that my toons will start looping around the target instead of staying right on target via IWT just waned to see if this has happened to any of you be for i start from square one
I'll get it a small amount for my #1 dps bar
and a large amount from #2

The videos are done by Mosg2, not myself.
If you spam IWT (and I usually do too), your toons will circle about the target.
You're essentially giving a whole bunch of follow commands.
Which your toons interpret as run past the unit and run back and run around.
That behavior is very nice for pvp, as you swarm a target and casters usually need to face you.
Melee too, but they generally have an easier time doing that.
You lose a bit of DPS compared to standing next to something with straight DPS.
But they cannot dodge, parry or block when you're behind them, so you hit more often and miss less often.
If you don't want to swarm about them, spam your IWT slower.
Or even press it once, send the DK's onto the target.
And don't press it again, unless you need to adjust their position because the target has moved.
Not sure what POF is.
But will assume Frost Strike, as I don't see that in your bar description, and Frost Strike is a large portion of our DPS.

Everyone who use IWT/CTM have this issue ... ehm feature :)
It affords a bit concentration but its a strong advantage in PvP

I know what it is and what it should do but my 4 dks are making 8 to 10 yard loops around the target not just running around the target

The looping is caused by the way IWT works with Click to Move. I explain it here (http://www.dual-boxing.com/showpost.php?p=309609&postcount=6). Your slaves are basically running away and eventually turning around and running back because they received a command to interact again. The longer it takes for them to receive the command, the longer it takes for them to interact again, thus the longer loops.
It looks like you are sending it enough at the start to get them to run around, but then you stop sending it for longer periods as you spam. Send your IWT command more often/consistantly to shorten the delay between runoffs and reacquiring. If that doesn't do it, it may be because you are at target dummies and they aren't actually ABLE to click a valid location until they get out from under the dummies, which I also address in that link. In which case, you'll have to futz with the camera angels.

Something that I suggest for everyone that solves the age old problem of your lead toon getting cc'd and having to retarget.
Not only does this make retargeting after CC, or keeping your slaves on the kill target while the controller is CC'd, but it allows for faster and smoother switches. A key bind is always faster than tab or clicking.
I have 5 macros/binds on my toons that do the following.
Healer + 3 Dks have this version:
Replace # with 1-5
/cleartarget
/target [@arena#]
The Main DK from who's POV I play from has this version.
/cleartarget
/cast [@arena#] Chains of Ice
/target [@arena#]
