Some disdainful 70 (disdainful of multiboxing), said if I was gonna hack, I shouldn't be showing off in SW. So since she sniped and ran, I put on general how I was multiboxing, and why would I cheat and then show off. The bizarro comment was that obviously I was hacking cuz my shamans were all in SM blues, and near completely matched but for two pieces. I said I just did what anyone else does, farm a place til I get all the drops. She replied no, sweetheart. Really, no one has farmed a place godforsaken numbers of times to get a set of gear. Tier .5 anyone? How many strat or sholo runs for boots or that damn hats, or shoulders in UBRS. FFS. When she made another comment and ran off, I told her to just write me off as a loser, with no life or friends. And that she should just go on and live a nice life.

ahh the daily antics of a fantastic community. Multiboxing has some read anoying downsides. But you did the right thing, and i find that is just refer to yourself in the way a normal player plays the game.
You farm like anyone else does.
The amount of time you spend on the game is the same as everyone else does.
We are smarted player unlike everyone else though, because not everyone else has the brain power or income to do what we do

Heh, I love when people jump my sh*t in major cities. I'm like, 'dude, if this were illegal do you think I'd be standing around in the middle of town being so obvious about it???'

some believe the ultimate insult is "reported". I love it when someone claims to have "reported" me. They don't even ask what I am doing or how I am doing it. It's even more interesting when you are at least level 60 or even level 70 that they somehow think they are the first person to ever report me. They don't believe me when I say I've been reported before and I'm still here.

I like to call them the fun police.

I had my first "unique" insult last night...was dancing on IF bridge with 2 other druids and a shaman with some guildies after dinging 63 and before loggin for the night...a few people ask in whisper how I did that, told 'em 3 accts and a keyboard multiplexer(it's true even if software, and if they ask what a multiplexer is, use the TV analogy: It's like a cable splitter, but instead of splitting signals to multiple TVs, it splits inputs to multiple wow windows)

One lv63 half-naked paladin runs up in front of me, and says I quote: "people like you ruin this game" "asshole" - I just told him I love him too and everyone else watching the druid dance-fest just lols at him or disagrees and one even calls it good entertainment lol, the bored idlers get a kick out of something new and interesting in town for once.

But yeah that was my first non-"lol no life living in mom's basement quit wasting your money on a game etc" comment, he stuck around for a second but didn't really say anything after that...the only thing we ruin is our own losses not having to be part of other peoples' wipefest pugs lol, otherwise we generally stay within the rules and try not to camp unless provoked first in pvp ;p

I was harassed for weeks while I was leveling and a little bit at 70, but now I get people cheering at me, last week someone came up to me while I was just on with one char doing some banking stuff and they said they had heard about me from people in his guild and he wanted to take a screen shot and just with the one toon was fine... so to you and everyone else taking slack, it will get better

they said they had heard about me from people in his guild so multi-boxers are becoming legend? almost a myth until they run into a group... nice

I usually laugh at them about everyone wearing the same gear... I usually respond... "If you actually look around Shat, you'll notice that most of the people are in their welfare-epics Season 1 gear... and they ALL look the same. Easy way to find a hunter? Look for the S1 shoulders and a big blue axe. LOL."

That's a DAMN good point kllr...I'm gonna have to point that out if anyone ever comments on my gear matching ;D

Yeah, i love it when people say "reported", its extra attention :)

Oh, and I rolled 4 locks on a brand new server, and I had 70s left and right sending me tells asking if they could run me thru VC to see how it all worked.

Great stuff.

they said they had heard about me from people in his guild so multi-boxers are becoming legend? almost a myth until they run into a group... niceWell on the tournament PTR we're fuckin legends(not that I deserve such a title)! I strolled about for one hour waiting for a mate to logg on and by the time I came back from a fivemin break I was bloody surrounded by people yelling everything from "WTF?!" to "awesume, boxing!" (luckily mostly the latter).

Was outside RFC on me 5 warlocks when a level 70 hunter comes along with some low levels, I get called a Chinese gold farmer, Then called me a English gold farmer, and then the last one was "Prove to me your not a bot or im reporting you" o not to mention the Give me gold or i report and you get banned comments.

all fun !
