Plus plenty of mods?

Hello all,
I have been waiting for some more reviews of a couple of boards (1155) I like to come in, and contemplating my build for this summer. Meanwhile, I have come to the idea that I might dual box and three box for a while and then do a full raf down the road. I would like to know if the new dual core Intel 2100 should do me right for boxing two or three characters. My current rig (circa 2007) is holding up pretty (one instance) well but can't really cope with mods. I would go, and might, with the 2500K for my 1155 build, but I am considering saving everything I can in preparation for the Sandy Bridge 6 cores. As long as they come out within the year that would be fine with me if a 2100 can perform admirably till then. Any real life experience out there?

Thanks for helping make my decision. And also, one more thing: Should I get an SSD even though it is not going to be 4 or 5 accounts? Or can I continue to wait for prices to come down?

Thanks much!

-Grail

I think those processors have come leaps and bounds since the Q6600 which I use and I run 5 clients fine (on low albeit).

Woah,

Just noticed you said DUAL CORE.

Well I'm on an old quad core and I can do 5. Dual core should be able to manage 3 fine, especially if its the new iX range (i3, i5 etc).

But seriously, if it means waiting a month or two for a processor upgrade, then wait! You'll be better off!
