Im getting on pretty well with keyclone at the moment but i've come across a problem with not being able to pass mouse clicks to my following characters. I've found the option to set the keys up, and i ask my thumb button to be bound to "=". But i just cant get it to pass through to the chars on follow. :/
I did notice that keyclone isnt storing this information when i set it too, that might give more of a reason for it not working...any bugs associated with that atm?
Ideally i wanted to be able to spam the thumb button to make my characters target and follow me and it would be ace if i could get it to work correctly.
Any pointers appreicated and appologies if this has been covered elsewhere, i have searched but to no avail.
(A friend also has the exact same problem, so you would be helping two people here :> )

I think you can only use mouse buttons on the window that is active, so when focus follows mouse is on, you can use the function you set to the mouse button for that window.
I believe it had to be like this because WoW did not support it ?

It sounds like he has mapped mouse keys to keystrokes... if this is the case you need to make sure that you have those keys on your whitelist or make sure they are not on the DNP list.
Also if keyclone isn't saving settings I've generally found that to be a corrupted keyclone.ini file.

it sounds like the not saving part is the issue.
if you are on vista, make sure you 'run-as' administrator

Hiya,
Im running in XP SP2.
In my "do-not-pass" list i have added "WASD and ALT", the whitelist option isnt ticket.
In my "mouse-map" i try to add Xbutton2 (thumb button) but it doesnt save the settling.
I'll have another fiddle tonight, but didnt get far last night.
Thanks for feedback

when you go to add a mouse mapping.. you need to click in the button area with the button combo you want... then you left click in the key area and hit the key would want to be pushed when you use that button...
THEN you hit the button to the right with the '+' label to add that mouse mapping to your list of mouse mapping.

I had a similar problem at first.. I was so used to using my mouse buttons on my G7 mouse that when i started mboxing and wanted my clones to do the same I couldn't understand why it wasn't working.. at first i tried the mousemapping too.. but i couldn't get it to recognise the mouseclicks when i was hovering over the field :(
I gave up on it for a while.. but then it hit me! I had the logitech software change the button to something else .. ctrl+something or other :) putting them back to the original allowed keyclone to register the command and still keep the keybindings in wow :)
come to think of it tho.. I set the logitech software up so it would be ctrl+0 and yet i would expect that command to cross over to my clones no matter if i had mousemapping on or not :S strange
hope that helps in some way :)

Ah, yes, i was being a dumb arse, i wasnt pressing the + to add to the list :O)
However, now i've worked that out, i've tried mapping "XBUTTON2" to "2" and thats not worked for me...However! I have managed to map "XBUTTON1" to "2" and that seems to be working fine, its passing through "2" to my main character and my followers.
The mouse is a MS Habu, i've not installed the s/w that came with it as it shafted the rest of my UBS ports, might be time to check for new drivers :D
Thx for input guys.
