If I set all 5 of my clients to max graphics setting and then set the maxfpsbk to 5 would that keep them running like if I had them all set to lowest graphics for better performance? Anyone info would be greatly appreciated.

I think a max fps of 5 would be painful to watch, even in your peripheral vision. Why not try a reasonable framerate like 15 fps bg / 30 fps fg with the *lowest* visual settings first. If that's ok then you can try raising them.

setting your maxfpsbk to 5 will save some cpu / gpu for the main... but setting the maxfps to 999 (max'd out) would just burn the savings and make some things (ie: PiP) problematic since you have no cpu / gpu left

best to restrain your wow clients to a maxfps of 60 (do you really need more?)

personally, i'd drop it to between 40-50 and put my maxfpsbk to 10-15, just to be more playable.

I use 8 maxfpsbk, any lower and I *think* i get problems with followers catching up too slow.

For me changing maxfpsbk from 15 to 8 makes the difference between a walk through Org at peak time taking 20 minutes (and breaking follow about 10 times) or 2 minutes (without breaking follow and being able to minimise to my desktop/Firefox instantly)...

As with any game settings, unless you're running a really sweet setup, just play around and find out to what extent you're willing to sacrifice performance/quality to make your multiboxing experience as enjoyable as possible for you personally.
