PTR 4.2 Shaman buffs! Were back baby!

So posting this from my phone so not going to copy it all but teaser. Cast lighting bolt while moving. Thunderstorm applies a slow. And pvp 4 set gives you a lightning charge instead of take away!!! Fulmanation pew pew

At least something, i dont think it changes the state of the current ele shaman, but at least its a step in the right direction,

Elemental
- Lava Flows now grants a 30/60/90% haste buff when a Flame Shock effect is dispelled, up from 10/20/30%.
- Thunderstorm now reduces the movement speed of players it knocks back by 40% for 5 seconds.

You forget:

glyph so we can cast lightning bolt on the move
4p set bonus on pvp gear make us gain a lightning shield orb when we take damage
lightning shield and water shield can no longer be dispelled
if fs gets dispelled, we gain 90% haste for 6 seconds

Glyphs

Glyph of Unleashed Lightning (new Prime glyph) allows Lightning Bolt to be cast while moving.




Elemental 2 Pieces - Your offensive spells have a chance to reset the remaining cooldown on your Fire Elemental Totem.
Elemental 4 Pieces - Your Lava Surge talent also makes Lava Burst instant when it triggers.

This sounds interesting tbh, having thunderstorm do a slow effect is pretty awesome. But I dont think castin LBs on the run will do that much for ele shamans. Thou giving us the haste buff when FS is removed is cool! In my opinion they should buff Lightning bolts dmg, buff lava burst with 5-10 % dmg and make UE off the GCD.

doesnt sound like worth it to me to give up 4p pvp bonus for having a 20% chance on making your next lava burst 1.2 second cast into an instant cast
the 2 piece pve set bonus might be really worth it to run around with in normal bg's when boxing

we still don't have a strong defensive cooldown, but at least we can now use EM in a different way, and speccing into feedback might actually be worth it since we'll have actually casts going off

still easy to counter ele shamans with anything that can do long lockouts

actually, the 4p pve set bonus is losing a lot of its attraction with the new glyph for pve
i'm not that mad that we have the freedom now to equip only 2 set pieces and use other offset ones rather than have to use 4p bonus to be competitive
