Just curious whether anyone has experience with this RAM. I've been fighting some weird system issues here lately and swapping this out for Kingston HyperX RAM fixed the errors. I find it difficult to believe that all 4 1GB sticks of Crucial are bad at the same time, but I suppose a bad lot is possible.

I have them. Check your timings and voltage. As I remember there is an issue w/ the wrong values getting set by default. Once I went into the bios and set them by hand I've had zero problems.

Yeah, the settings according to Crucial are 5-5-5-15, 2.2v, which I've tried. :P

I have 4 sticks of 1gb Crucial 1066 Ballistix and have had no problems at all. The only memory I have had problems with has been OCZ which seem to be DOA for a lot of buyers according to NewEgg reviews.

Really? I thought all of the Ballistix were 4-4-4-12. That's what mine ('http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820146565') are anyway. I think I run them at 1.95V.

Biggest problem in diagnosing this shit is that it takes like 6-8 hours of stress testing for it to fail, which means I can test new configs twice per day. :P PITA.

I have bought the majority of my hardware rom NewEgg and they are excellent with RMA's. I have not had a single problem with returning DOA Ram back to them.

Welp, went a head and RMA'd this stuff last night. The Kingston HyperX PC8500 has been running stable for 3 days now, so I'm writing it off to a bad lot of the Ballistix. We'll see how the new batch does when I get it.
