I've been fiddling around with this problem on my 85 Paladins for quite a while..I can't figure it out.

Every single time i log into my 4 Paladins, And go to attack something(1st mob)..It'll die, I'll move to the 2nd one, If i'm near the previous mob i killed, While button mashing against my current target, it'll swap targets to the corpse of the previous target.

I've bound all the settings, Unbound / Reset to Default(Key Bindings)..But i can't figure out why it's targetting even on mouseover - When i'm not even hitting that key combination, Or when i even have it un-bound(No key for that action in keybinding options)...

I do not have Broadcasting enabled, just the standard default "1" through "=" keys key mapped with IWT setup. Nothing extra. Only thing enabled is Shift+ALT+M(Key Map)..Shift+ALT+R is disabed unless broadcasting ALT+# or Shift+# combinations. I've also looked over the preset key bindings in ISBoxer's settings, Nothing there that would spark the target switching(That i've come across yet).

ANYONE got a clue why my target is always swapping BACK from my current target to the previous(Corpse)?...And i have no problem with this on my 4 Mages in Westfall(Sentinel Hill, Instant respawn Riverpaw mobs, Lots of corpses / targets - No problem whatsoever with it then)...

Any tips / thoughts appreciated..

Thanks.

Sounds like you've got an FTL Assist keymap being called via Do Mapped Key for All w/o Current when it should be Window:Current.

Gotcha, Thanks - I'll look for that now(Probably when i was failing on setting up IWT for the paladins)..

I'll report back if the problem is solved.

You can also get yourself into a target-last-target loop if you switch targets and then start spamming buttons with /assist in them too soon afterwards. Effectively, what happens is you don't wait long enough for the server to acknowledge your targeting change, which causes you to retarget that corpse, which causes your client to report you targeted the corpse, which just happens to time just right and notify the server who acknowledges you've targeted the corpse, which starts the cycle over again. :p It's annoying when you're trying to quickly dispatch a pack of enemies. Only solution is to retarget and give it a second to "catch up."

Or what Fenril said. ;)
