Hello guys, i want to start dualboxing and im confused about picking a good combo...

So far i know i want a tank/healer combo so its easier to lvl and do dungeons..

was thinking in some combos (for healer i will skip priest, and for tanking im skipping DK's):

Pala tank + Pala healer
Pala tank + Shaman healer
Pala tank + Druid Healer
Druid tank + Druid healer
Druid tank + Pala healer
Druid tank + Shaman healer
Warrior tank + Pala healer
Warrior Tank + Shaman healer
Warrior tank + Druid healer

give me suggestions guys, what is fun, nice and not too hard :)

If at all possible, four-boxing is probably the way to go if your focus is PvP.
And five-boxing if your focus is PvE and/or PvP/PvE mixed.
Just because you have the firepower to blow people up in PvP, and are a full group in PvE.

Just about any two toon combo will work with two toons.
My suggestion would be to play classes that you enjoy.

Druids and Paladins are a prime candidate.
The Druid can be Melee-DPS, Caster-DPS, Caster-Heals or Tank.
The Paladin can be Melee-DPS, Tank or Heals; possibly Caster-DPS to a degree with a full group of Shockadin/Exorcism pallies... although that won't be nearly as good as DPS as any other ranged set of toons.

Druid Tanks are lacking until Thrash? (the 81st level talent).
You can run a Druid Tank, but they won't have all their tools.

I'd lean towards a Tank Option and a Healer Option.
If you were only doing two.
And personally have both able to go DPS, both ranged or both melee.
For ease questing and syncing up for PvP.

thank you for your reply :) im really focus only in two toon box mainly for LFG tool :)

so all combos are able to work right? and a tank + ranged dps could work good too?

I would say it depends on what roles you want in the lfg tool.

Paladin/Druid are good for 1st slot because you can tank, dps or heal based on what you feel like doing.

Paladin/Druid/Shaman/Priest are good for 2nd slot so you can dps or heal.

My suggestions from this would be Paladin tank with Priest Healer.

Out of what options you have listed, I'd suggest pally tank with druid healer. But, personally I'd rather have a priest for healing. In the end though, just pick a class for each slot that you enjoy playing.

How do you plan to play?
Before I got 5 accounts I had only 2 and my favourite duo combination was/is without any doubt hunter + priest. Using a tank pet (like a bear) and that trio can handle everything (at least outside dungeons).

You do mention dungeons though. How will you play those? Filling up rest of slots with pugs, or playing with a duo when you outgear the dungeons slightly? If the second alternative is your idea a hunter + healer combo will handle dungeons nicely as well.

I would do dood dood, but any of the three role specs would be optimal for the LFG farming thing.

Might want to think of just grinding in a guild though.

Good luck with your choice.
Imho tank and dps dual-spec'd for duo healing would be better choice. Only because tank and heals are the two most demanding roles in dungeons, and three random dps'ers can make boxing those two jobs 10x harder. Or easier, but its a crapshoot with LFG. And macroing heals for random group members has always been bugged for me, but maybe you have better luck than I with stuff like that. Seriously though, good luck and keep us posted on how it's going.

p.s. I know my sig says I'm two-boxing tank/heals in RIFT right now, but I don't group unless there is a main healer besides my toons in the party, I don't want the responsibility LOL.

How about TWO ROGUES!

Are you planning to heal Cata heroics with 3 pugs? What problems do you foresee, and how are you going to plan for them?

Part of the issue is also with warrior + pally you are relying on plate drops. A Tankadin + Shaman is good combo due to heal stream + watershield + might = mad regen + continual heals. Your pally can run in Ret more and you shammy can drop the armor totem, melee haste or caster haste is also nice and you have resist aura from your heal stream. Add in some searing totem + flameshock + consecration + fire nova and while questing you can AOE grind like a champ and regen with lightning bolts on your tankadin's target if he doesn't need heal. Finally, who doesn't love earth shield?

If u do get ur shammy, make him ur enchanter, u can get many gears from Mail, leather and cloth that U may roll on and then later disenchant.
