I 5 Box on one pc. Below is my PC info

Amd Phenom 9500 qaud core
2gb Kingston HyperX High perfomance pc8500 memory
500gb SATA 300 HDD with 32mb Buffer
BFG 8800GTS Graphics Card

I notice lately I have been having some issues in the outland zones with bad frame rate drops and freezing which causes some headaches. I was wandering what I could do to improve perfomance without sacrificing the visual enjoyment of nice graphics. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

More ram. The freeze ups are most likely caused by your system swapping out to disk. I find my clients (especially in high population areas) can grow to 400MB+ memory usage each. This quickly shoots past your available memory and the system has no other choice but to move it out to disk. Be aware that if you go to 4GB and are running a 32bit OS, you won't be able to use all of it, however - the 3.2 or so GB available should be enough to allow you to run comfortably with 5 clients.
