Hello,

Does anyone have experience boxing WoW and LoTRO using ISBOXER? I would like to know how I can setup each one individually on the same PC so the settings in one don't overwrite/conflict with the other. I believe if I run the quick setup wizard and choose LoTRO after already having WoW setup it will overwrite settings. Correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks.

I am here to correct you. You can run as many games as you want from a single profile.

The Quick Setup Wizard will not -- ever -- overwrite any of your settings, you can run them independently of each other in the same profile. In fact, for LOTRO it will even use differently named key maps from WoW -- Always On, Non-combat, and Combat as opposed to Control, General and FTL DPS Keys

It is very much intended for you to be able to use the Quick Setup Wizard as many times as you need in the same profile without destroying any of your configuration.

Alternatively, you can use File, Save As and keep completely separate profiles. Some people do this (I am guilty as well, my EVE config file is separate from my massive WoW file). You would just load the one you want, and Export it.

Awesome. That makes sense. I figured it would do something with general, control, etc. however your explanation makes sense that it creates a different set of keymaps and add those sets to LoTRO teams and doesn't add the WoW keymaps.

Thanks for the help.

I keep WoW and EQ in one file (because they use different key maps) and RIFT in a separate file - mostly because I now have over 200 mapped keys spread across over 10 key maps in my RIFT profile! Why? Because I am heavily using mapped key virtualisation and also managing all my video feeds with mapped keys.
