My new UI - <3 Trinity Bars !

I downloaded trinity bars last night and spent hours configuring my 3 box team.

Must say I am extremely impressed by the mod, and I am very very happy with my new UI.

I have set my group up to use a VW as a tank and an imp for buffs.

I now have all healing functions by the priest bound to mouseclicks, with heals / shield icons over the healthbars of each toon

This has freed up all my keybinds for offensive (warlock) abilities.

I have 3 thumb mouse buttons (+shift modifiers) for targeting - assist main / assist VW / Target & setting focus

I have found so far that by separating offensive keybinds with healing by mouseclick (when the buttons are over the healthbars i am watching) has made multitasing a bit easier.

screenshots below - see what you think - next job is once i have memorised all the keybinds to set the bars to fade out unless mouseover and set up my crowd control macros for when the succubus arrives.

When looking at it from a glance, it feels overwhelming :) but.. it sounds like it fits your style, after you have the memorization down I'm sure it's a breeze.

ye once i have all the button locations memorised I will hide the orange and pink bars until mouseover, so i will just need to mouseover whichever toon is taking dmg to get that bar.

I could shrink the green bar now as It is the same warlock bar1 i used on my 70 lock

and the num pad can be hidden once i have them assigned - will keep you updated

edit: i have very few macros thanks to Trinity Bars 'Bar Target' - in fact all the healing targets are assigned by Trinity so I just dragged the spells from the spellbook - easy!

The bar1 icons showing warlock spells on the priest are 'empty macros' named by button - and these keys are only bound on the locks.

The only macros I am using are : /assistmain, /assist Voidwalker , /Target focus, /follow main , /follow Voidwalker / Set focus - bound to 3 mouse keys (shift modifier) with Pet attack, Pet stop&follow. on F1-F4

Trinity took hours to set up but if you are no good at macros like me I would highly recommend some of it's advanced functionality.

Sorted all the healing bars except those on display for mouseover - positions / number of buttons from above example is the same

Re-scaled targeting bars larger and bar 1 smaller

Hid most frames till mouseover

Healing with the mouse is kinda like healing a raid using CtRaid, take a more RTS style overview to whackamole healing on the bars taking damage.

oh god thats the most chaotic UI I have ever seen :)

I like minimalistic UI with alot of free space, it makes the game atmosphere much bette,r but its me. Different people - different tastes ;P

im gonna go back to trinity now and see how i like it last time i used it was bout 5 months ago, and then i went normal UI and switched to Bongos about a month ago, gona give it a go only because of the target function!

I'm thinking about using that, for if I were to lvl paladin / druid or w/e so I could but my alternative account's buffs up so it'd be easy, just click it and it would buff? it would be nice, instead of having to do w/e you gotta do just put a heal button up and a buff or w/e click it get your heal, etc. ^^

Looks like it will work great if you bind all the keys to a big /castrandom macro and smash your face on the keyboard ^.^

It's definitely different, and if it works for you go for it ! I personally have all my buttons / bars on the periphery, keeping the center of the screen clear so I can see what's going on.
