New grid addon i find

got this to work great with 4.1 with load out of date addons.
here a setup gide its a lot easyer then the other one out there i find and got lot of tools and ways to do it new UI :D

now you have to use class with pally-deakights or whatever your class it on the new update today.

I tried this addon; but it did not work for me.

Using:
- Grid r1439
- GridConfigurableLayouts r74

Whenever i set the Namelist to my team, which is:
"Ðuke,Bær,Cær,Dær,Eær" (without double quotes)
There is nothing displayed at all.

If i change the group filter to "Everyone" or other options, it appears to work. Just the namelist is not working for me; which is the whole point for me using this addon.

The screenshot showed is not very clear, this text is confusing me:
"tick 2nd box and then set older players by Role but leave the older unticked and then keep them in the older you have the the namelist at."

I assume "older players" should be "Order players" instead; a typo made twice. But i just get to see:
Current Role Order:
nil, nil, nil, nil, nil

Anyone who has got this addon to actually work with WoW 4.1.0 ?

why the guy has not updated this for 4.1 is bcouse grid has not updated thats why its still running on 4.0.6 but it does work if you not got any special characters in your name av openen a ticket about this

There's Grid2 on curse now.
The guy said they're in the process of re-writing the code.

There is a list of Grid addons which are up to date now.
And a list of Grid addons which are no longer maintained.

GridCustomLayouts does not appear in either of these lists.

Whats the difference with Grid2 and normal Grid?
I've see that Grid2 addon before but never bothered about trying it since grid w/customlayouts worked just fine.

You will get issues if you try to reconfigure your layout with gridcustomlayouts.. the window wil just grow and grow endlessly and cant really do anything..
So if you allready have it setup then it works just fine, but still need some configuration, then you need to manually edit the .lua files in order to configure your layout the way you want.

Are you refering to the Grid area? if so, I simply go into the grid setup by right clicking on the icon at the mini map, then on the size... just move the slider, and then move it back. I.e. "Grid Width=75"; move it to "74", pause a second, then move it back.

He's referring to the problem that happened before there was an update for 4.1 with GridCustomLayouts. If you opened up
the config window it would quickly grow in size (larger than the borders of your monitor) until you did a /reload to fix it. You
were forced to manually edit the Lua files.
