Hey yall I play a game called Dark Age of Camelot. I used to multi box my own team of WoW but the pvp benefits weren't nearly enough to keep me in the game.
I got all my multi boxing ideas from this site - thank you thank you...
In Dark Age of Camelot they limit you to 2 clients per computer... Theres some sort of cap that won't let me go above 2 accounts. This is lame and is boring my computer... I could take 5-6 daoc accounts per computer and I was looking into make a dragon killing/keep seige/pvp group on a server.
My questions:::
Anyone know how to bypass something like this in this particular game?
or
Does anyone know of a software that creates a fake clone of windows? - So I could then trick the game some how?

There are ways around this, what they are I have no idea.
You could try VMWare or various other Virtual Machines.

I recently tried to figure out a way to open more than one instance of Guild Wars. The solution I found was using a Hex editor and editing the registry. Maybe something like this would work for DAOC? http://www.guildwarsguru.com/content/tutorial-running-2-copies-of-guild-wars-id1837.php
Be sure to backup your game files before trying something like this, though! Don't know if it will work, but it's worth a shot if you can't figure something else out.

far as I know there is no "Legit" way to do this.
Also be careful, do to radar Mythic has some nice anticheat/hack software similar to warden. If you are to mod the client so you can run more you might get banned.
Regardless, if you figure out how to do it let me know, Id personally love to be able to run 8 myself. I sent in the question to the grab bag 5 times but got no reply.

Hmm... I actually play the free shards at daocportal.net
When I multi boxed for WoW I found it WAY easier to do it on live servers than the fake free servers. On the fake free servers SOO many people can rush you at one time... Alot of fear bombers... etc. It was still fun though.
I'll try the ideas you all posted.

If you think my idea could get you banned... don't do it! I do not want to be the cause of you getting banned. I do not know DAOCs TOS or EULA, but if you think there is any chance they could ban you for it, please don't risk it.

Kat I play free servers. No rules on this. They tell you to supply your own bots.
As far as buying new comps...Eh... I play games at night... During the day I work on my Blazer... restoring project car type thing. Blazer takes alot of money. Need to purchase and pay for labor on replacing both sides of my exhaust manifolds. So All the money I get is spent on teh Blazer. Both of my computers I have up and running atm can handle like 5 sometimes 6 instances of WoW. But DAoC won't let me get passed 2 b/c of some scripting code.
I downloaded a virtual machine. It actually makes another section on your hard drive to have another OS on. This virtual OS kind of over laps your current one. I have to completely install another OS in order to use a virtual machine. It would work... Would just be a crap ton of work and using another windows CD key...
