Keyclone, unable to send through network

I have 2 keyclones atm on 2 computers on the same network


When I load 2 notepads on the first computer the keys are sent to both and it works fine.

First computer is 192.168.0.100 and second is .101

I load up notepad on both, add to keyclone. I then connecto to address: 192.168.0.101 (from the first computer)

I can see each computer and their copy of notepad. I type in notepad and it shows the Bps go up (32 or up to 0332) but nothing is typed on the second computer.

I dont need to open ports since its going from network to network right??

First computer is xp, second is vista. I assume theres something simple I need to do but ive overlooked it or (if its ports) just ignored it.

What do I need to do?

first, if you are playing with notepad, make certain to add the notepad by clicking in the edit area.. not the title or menu or frame.

also, on vista, make sure to run as administrator

did 2 extra things:

1. Ran it as admin on vista (it is already on xp)


2. Set it up so each computer has a small region, and in that I made a command to run notepad in that region.


So everything should be automated by keyclone. I rerun them, relink them, on the first computer I tell the second to run command note1 (to launch notepad to the region) and it works. Then I type note2 on the main computer and it brings up notepad as well.

When I type characters or click the mouse, it sends data to the other, and both keyclones have that ...O... thing moving like crazy and both detect data being sent yet I see no characters or mouse clicks happening on the second computer...

when you use a keyclone command to run a program, keyclone will grab the main window and use that as the target window when cloning keys. notepad's main window is the frame. type all you want, nothing will happen.

try using wow, it'll make more sense

=)) Are you playing this next phase of shadowbane?? (They are doing a reboot... removing all servers but only leaving 2)

I hear lots will play for the 1-2 months it will be fresh but its taken them a month so far and no release yet
