So, i just started up my eve account again and plan to start up my alt account aswell.
I never really dualboxed them before, but i plan on doing that now.
I was thinking i would hook up my spare 19" screen and run the alt account on that.

Which software would i need to get my alt to easily assist my main while ratting in 0.0?
Which software to use to get the windows on separate screens when they are different resolutions (22" and 19") ?
Any other tips and trix for a new dualboxer?

with just two accounts on the same PC, there isn't much point, IMO. I run 5 and I really only use multiboxing software for warping/docking and turning on/off resist/shield modules.

EVE was pretty poor for multiboxing as it required mouse input for virtually everything. Recently they've introduced a wider range of keyboard shortcuts (only took them 7 years...).

I'm using ISBoxer for account/window management and key broadcasting. Lax is currently working on improving the mouse broadcasting features for EVE. I don't know much about the other software options as the only other one I've used is Keyclone but that didn't work with EVE last time I tried it a couple of years ago.

For dualboxing my best piece of advice would be to make sure that both pilots have the same skills and ship. Flavour of the year is the Drake battlecruiser for simplicity and firepower.

There's a 7-day free trial for ISBoxer; if you're comparing multiboxing software there's no reason not to try it and see if it's worth it to you.

EVE players so far are liking this idea for multiple monitors and ISBoxer: http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=41982 - and with this method it doesn't matter that your monitors are different sizes, because they're both actually on monitor 1 and at the same resolution.

I just started up my 3rd account tonight, also got my wife playing a trial now ;)

That looks awesome. Will have to try that out.
Gonna be alot easier to dualbox once i get my alt into an archon and my main into a tengu, just lack the isk.
Ratting with fighter support is quite awesome.
