I leveled these with Blizzard's Refer-A-Friend system ( http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US&articleId=20588 ) so leveling from 1-60 was kinda superfast. If I remember right, I did lots of questing, but also some instancefun (trash supercc mostly). Since you get Mirror Images at level 50, you could down bosses at your level I think.

Latest Blizzard-spell buff gives quite nice damage out if you found a spot to supergrind anything..

I love these videos. It's the only thing that intrigues me anymore in WoW. I would have been jaw on the floor if you had beat the last boss though =)

hehe nice to hear that :) Though, it seems the last boss might be doable, I didn't manage that yet but practice makes perfect.
At phase 1, Jin'do is like any trash mob, but the problems start at phase 2 when chains are up, timing the body slams while avoiding shadow spikes and killing adds, that starts to be a tad chaotic.

Only 1 of my 4 mages is ilvl 353, rest around 346-349, wouldnt mind trying this with 4 mages abd my raid geared hunter, maybe as BM

Not sure about running hunter + 4 mages, since when your mages pop mirror images, your hunter would have solid 100% aggro while the images are up.

I was kinda happy to see that Kael in Tempest Keep 25man is doable with 5 mages.. 32458 for everyone! Might make vid for the kill later :)

Forgive my ignorance (I spend most of my WOW time questing and have no idea how PVE performance has developed, and my own mages are level 72) but what spell rotation (and/or buffs) are you using that is producing spell crits in the 86,000-110,000 range?

My rotation on any 5man heroic boss fights is the following:
Arcane Power macro, Arcane Blast, Arcane Blast, Arcane Blast, Arcane Blast, Arcane Blast, Arcane Blast, Arcane Blast, Arcane Blast, Arcane Blast, Arcane Blast, Arcane Blast, Arcane Blast, Arcane Blast, Arcane Blast, Arcane Blast, Arcane Blast :D

Here is a trick :)

Normally, any raiding mage caps hit rating to 17% (for boss level fights lvl 88+)
However, my targets are below that. For example bosses in 5man heroics are lvl 87.

So I can cap my hit rating only to 6%, which allows me to stack haste and mastery instead of hit, and I barely miss my targets.
Second very important thing here are the talents, and how you spend the points.

Incanter's Absorption 2/2
"When your Mana Shield or Mage Ward absorbs damage your spell damage is increased by 20% of the amount absorbed for 10 sec. In addition, when your Mana Shield is destroyed, all enemies within 6 yards are knocked back 12 yards."

This talent grants up a great amount of spell power, though you need to stand in fire until your shields goes off to have maximum benefit from it (Mana Shield + Mage Ward can easily add your spell power by a few k's)

Improved Mana Gem 2/2
"Mana gained from your Mana Gem also increases your spell power by 2% of your maximum mana for 10 seconds."

I use Volcanic Potions a lot (actually every time I use my Arcane Power -macro, my mages try to drink these if they have some on the inventories.

On my main mage, I have around 7000 spell power without the Arcane Power -macro, and around 14000 spell power with it.
If you like to level up your mages superfast inside instances, I strongly suggest you to consider using this talent as well:

Improved Polymorph 2/2
"When a target you've polymorphed is damaged, that target is stunned for 3 sec. This effect cannot occur more often than once every 10 sec."

Even if you think "meh, it's only 3 seconds.." you will be stunned about the results.
Let's say I'm in The Lost City of Tol'vir heroic, and I've sheeped a pack of those deadly ones.. When I start dpsing one sheep, they usually go down in that 3 seconds before they even can face my team.. not to mention using any their abilities :)
Also if you're unlucky with the crits, and the mob seem to be still alive before 3 seconds, you can throw Improved Counterspell 2/2 at them, so they won't use any harmful instant abilities, they just "run" to your team very very slowly, since Arcane Blast also applies Slow (Nether Vortex 2/2)

Here is my Arcane Power macro

#showtooltip Arcane Power
/use volcanic potion (increases Intellect by 1200 for 25 sec.)
/use mana gem (Talent: Improved Mana Gem; Mana gained from your Mana Gem also increases your spell power by 2% of your maximum mana for 10 seconds.)
/cast arcane power
/cast mirror image (Glyph of Arcane Power allows to pop images without GCD)
/use 13 (Trinket: Soul Casket; increases your spell power by 1926 for 20 sec.)
/use 10 (Engineering tinker: Synapse springs; increases your Intellect by 480 for 10 sec.)

Arcane Power shares cooldown with Presence of Mind, so I only use PoM manually when I have 4 AB stacks and I need to move but keeping the stack up.
