Hello! Glad to see my research lead me to more people who have a multi box addiction. I have been Multi boxing since EQ1 and 4 Boxed in DAoC before i knew anyone else was nutzo enough to do it lol. I have always done it the hard way.. Alt tabbing and such. I'm glad i found this site and a bunch more multi box fans like myself. I just wanted some input/advice on my new PC I'm getting tomorrow..heres the details>>

Cooler Master CM Stacker 830 ATX Full-Tower Aluminum Case 1000w, ps Windows Vista Ultimate 64, Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6850 Quad Core 3.0Ghz overclocked to 3.67Ghz , ASUS P5E3 DELUXE w/ X38 chipset, 4 GB DDR3 SDRAM 1866MHZ / PC15000, 2xHD 3870 512MB ( got these for free or i would have got one ultra..will upgrade later ),ThermalTake Big Water 760i Liquid Cooling System( cpu only for now), Soundblaster X-FI Platinum Fatality Champion Series Card with Pro breakout, 2x Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 - hard drive - 750 GB ( raid 0 ), Sony BWU-200S - BD-RE drive, i already have a G15 keyboard

I ordered this before I came across 5 Shaman whooping my ass in the arenas ( about 3 weeks ago on Hyjal alliance ) So its why i have extra stuff in that rig that does nothing for wow.. i play all games..but WoW is my main addiction. Had i known it was going to lead to me becoming a 5 Boxer I might have asked questions here first before building a system. With that in mind, how will this fare running 5 acnts? These ATI cards ok for this in crossfire ? ( i can upgrade later .. waiting for the next gen cards to come out ) I have two dif size monitors now a 20 and a 19. Could i use 4 ( or should I ? ) I have read through some of these posts and have not seen much about ATI cards and potential issue with 5 boxing.so I'm asking here for any helpful input. Thank you!

Oh! I have a AMD AthX2 4600 now with one 8800Gt @g ram and have been testing my 5 shaman team last few days to start getting used to it. would you recommend splitting the 5 between the new rig and old one .. or will this new rig be more than enough for 5 acnt ( i use the 2nd for Internet and such while i play if so ) Thank You in advance for any pointers or comments!

You will be just fine man. That is a bad ass system. All you would need to do is put your main on monitor 1 and the other 4 split on monitor 2, and limit the fps when in the background on the other 4 to around 15-20 fps. Thats what I do with my 3-box and I get about 100 fps on the main with 1680x1050 22" monitor. I'm running a core 2 duo 6850 with 2gb DDR2 800 and a 320mb nvidia 8800 gts. Though I do have a 10000 rpm 150 gb Raptor that the games are installed on. Thinking about putting another 1gb DDR2 into it also.

Thank you for your reply. I think im going to start off doing them all on the new PC to see how it does. But i will be buying 3 more Monitors soon and will want three on one PC and two on the other. So im thinking of running 3 on my new rig and two on the old. When doing all 5 on my old the 4 little Alt WoWs( on sencond screen ), things like loot in their bags and any text are real hard to see. So i really want all 5 visable. So is this doable with two PCs without mush hassel ? Or i guess i could just get two big monitors at some point.

So now ill go read up on how to make 2 PCs run 5 acnts with keycloan 8)
