View Full Version : I hate pvp servers :( lol
This sucks so bad lol! I promised myself that i wouldn't attack and kill anyone my level unless they were with others (just got boring 1 shotting people my level) or if they attacked me or if they were ??. That being said someone my level thinks he will be smart and fear bomb me, i see this and drop my tremor totems asap. And the fear does nothing and i one shot the priest. I contiune doing my quest not even ganking and then 5 70's show up and think its cool to camp me for an hour. So boring. Forget STV

You reap what you sow.
I Respectfully suggest rolling on a PVE server.
I 1shotted a 63 priest at 60. Got camped by his 70 buddies for 30 minutes. Then caught the same 63 later with a 70 when I had the jump. I killed & camped them both.
Personally I thank them for keeping wow interesting while leveling even if it did take away an hour of my leveling process.
I like world pvp. I think people that don't like it, should probably not roll on a PVP server.
I like the PvP. I love the PvP. I hate getting camped by 5 70's when i didnt even start it. Nor did i start ganking them :(
if they want to camp you its always a good time to have a break. go make a coffee, spend some time with the misses come back in 10 mins. if there still there it will be amazing, if they're gone you win. Either that or try and find them for the next hour and try and get away.

Completely destroys any shred of sympathy anyone might have felt for you. The wheel turns.

Riding from Stonebreaker Hold to Shadowmoon valley last night, some epic'd out alliance shaman kept trying to snipe my group (5 x L67 Shammies). He was flying around on his epic mount, landing and firing off chain lightings and taking off agian before I could get to him. He couldn't do enough damage to kill my guys, but he was just doing it to be an ass. He kept this up for a good 5 minutes before finally he was too slow mounting up and 5 x EM Chain lightnings fried his ass. And then again. And again. I guess he finally figured out after the 3rd time all he was doing was giving me free HK's and gave up. lol. :D

this happened to me a bunch when i got my shaman to lvl 70, and its happening again as I lvl my warlocks.
I have 3 warlocks at 50 and 4 shamans at 70 now though.. so when i get ganked, i try and find some water, die if necessary again to gain the water advantage, ninja summon in 3 shamans, and proceed to walk out of the water with my last online warlock, as bait to lure the offending horde out of hiding. The warlock takes it for the team and usually gets ganked but theres a suprise incoming, 3 elemental PvP specced s3 shamans blasting him and camping him and all his friends he brings for hours of fun filled entertainment. yes, it cuts hours off my lvling, but while im offline im getting a tiny bit of rest exp and free HKs on my shamans =) its a win win situation, and the horde will usually get the idea, and in the long run will not bother you without a HUGE group, and thats fine by me, I can take 10 horde on my shamans if they don't know I'm coming =)

also, I have a macro that lets my guild I need help, and I create a raid with my 3 warlocks and summon in anyone who is willing to play to my spot from my guidl, sometimes bringing 20 guildies to take on 5 whored. good times.
the only thing is, NEVER will i bring a 70 to a fight unless there is a 70 present already. i have never once called in high lvl reinforcements of any kind to a fair fight. I have been camped for a while by a ton of horde lvl 4+ above me when i was 40 or so, and i was never lame bringing a 70 to wipe the floor with them, its not fair and thats not PvP. i can handle myself and i can get HKs too, and as a warlock no martter what, people are dying after I do :P lol

The first thing you need to adjust to on a pvp server is learning NOT to res. Patience is key. Run back to your bod(y/ies), but DO NOT RES. This is why Blizzard lets you see what's going on around your bodies while dead. If it's a stealther, run around a bit, you can stealth detect while dead; otherwise, just sit there till they get bored and leave, AND MAKE SURE ITS NOT A FAKEOUT, aka riding away only to run back later hoping to fake you out into ressing. The bigger dick campers do this once, maybe twice before they actually get bored and leave. I've never been camped for long with this tactic, but I'm one patient son of a bitch :p
Another option is to use whtever escape mechanism you have to get away while the gankers're distracted by others nearby; call out in general chat for some help, if anyone comes and pulls 'em away, res and gtfo of dodge; do not res and hearth, get away from your "last known location" THEN hearth or go to town and fly somewhere else for the time being.

I'm on a pve realm but I have some fun at level 59!
I was flagged as pvp in hellfire pen and a fully epiced alliance hunter with his netherdrake through I would be easy picking being level 59 and he being 70.
He was wrong... felguards charged in spam dotted until they stuck and kitted him multiple time, I camped him and he camped me while flying around.
Then his level 70 mage and 58 pally friend joined, I whooped their arses too with only 2 out of the 5 deaths (I love soulstones)
needless to start I started a world pvp event at thrallmar and I was summoning reinforcement in from all over the world to help, it was epic!
