Was wondering if you guys do any special tweaks to your internet connections to help get better performance. I notice im always very laggy around shat. Like when my guys are on follow, sometimes they will just stop following me and sit there and lag for a moment. I have to run back gather them up again. And I think my machine can quad-box very easy. Q6600 OC to 3.2 2gig or ram and a 8800gt. Any help would be appreciated.
P.S. should i upgrade to 4gigs of ram im using windows XP so it would really only be 3.2 :)
Make sure your lag isn't loading time. You mention you lag in shat. Which is a highly populated area. WoW uses VERY little bandwidth, so I suspect it is your ram or even GPU/CPU/hard drive and not your internet connection.

thanks for the responce. Its happens in the world too, like my main char will look fine, and the alts will be lagged out running in place? 2 players will have red latency and the other 2 will have green? Its weird.

I recently switched over my two hard drives from RAID 0 (for performance) to two separate non raid hard drives. Now I run three instances of wow off one hard drive and two instances on the other hard drive. The load time and performance went up quite a bit in my case.
As far as latency goes, try running off default UI and seeing if that helps. There are certain mods that tend to cause some interface lag.
