View Full Version : Keyclone Maximizer and custom resolutions

Hey I am playing with the PIP which is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
I am wondering if it is possible for me to change the resolution for each region? So like 1440x1050 on the main one and then 800x600 on the others? I can't seem to find anything like that in the UI.

When you work on maximizer it changes the size of each region. So you have one region that is 1260,1050 and the others that are say 420,350.
This would be for a monitor that is 1680/1050
Is that what your getting at?

If you got PiP working, then you found it and set it up already. PiP just swaps two existing pre-defined regions. You define them under the maximizer area of keyclone which is where you specify the key sequence you press to swap PiPs.
If your current character is in your main window of 1440x1050 and you hit the PiP for one of your alts in an 800x600 window, then your alt will be displayed on the 1440x1050 and your former main will move over to the 800x600.

Yeah I saw how it was working with chaning things around. However the main window was 1440x1050 however that instances resolution is set to 800x600 and then it just appears to scale things bigger. I changed the resolution of the main window to match the 1440x1050 which would work, until I switch windows via the PIP. Then it would be back to 800x600. This is what I am wondering about.

yea, i'm still scratching my head.
when you pip swap, the smaller window will be resize to the bigger window.. and the bigger will get resized to the smaller region.
your aspect ratios could be off... but that would require you to determine the correct settings yourself.
a quick way to check the aspect ratio, divide the width by the height.. get a number. and do the same with your smaller clone windows... if the numbers don't match, the aspect ratio will be off. (at which point your character will look stretched or squashed)
