We’ve opened a brand new PvE realm to be added to the Emberstorm Battlegroup. This is a new non-transfer realm and as such it will not be available as a destination for Paid Character Transfers for six months. We invite new and old players alike to join this realm and begin a fresh adventure in Azeroth.

Realm: Cairne - Normal
Timezone: Central

Sounds like a good time to start up some new groupings on a fresh server.

I've done this before and it can be alot of fun. Makes for lots of leveling companions at the outset as well (assuming you like that). Sure the economy will be different than what your used to and there will be more competition for some rare spawn/named mob quests but its still fun to see players in zones that are mostly dead on more established servers.

Yeah I have done this and its heaps of fun. Loads of people to run low level instances with.

One thing that is annoying is that there is always loads of people contesting to get the same mobs rare spawn etc.

As for boxing, I would think this would probably be just an annoyance to me, I have my party, I dont need anyone else, this is what I like about boxing, so the less people about the better.

Also new servers usually wind up low pop in a few months as everyone who thought the grass would be greener finds out it is still brown.

this is generally true about pvp servers, but not pve servers. ghostlands was the new server only a month ago, and during the last phase of free transfers, ghostlands was a realm that had free transfers to LEAVE the server. thats right, it already has queue problems and is high pop.

especially with this being a "normal" server, i'm sure it will be very consitently populated.
