With the changes to Power Infusion, the combo isn't OP anymore, thus they reverted it.

Good to hear that the dev's are trying many different things.

They only restored it as a temporary fix as some of the buffs that were supposed to go into this patch obviously will not make it. Lets just hope the future buffs negate the burst loss we will receive later on.

We'll see how it pans out, either way it's good news :)

/CHEER

Either way EM / Earth Shock, LB, or CL is still deadly non-instant cast... A little LB volley with an instant CL is still deadly sauce.

They're not gimp in PVE from what I can tell. One of our shammies is elemental and he is usually in the top 5. In solo pvp they are very weak. But wow...this is excellent news.

rofl, flametounge puts a MS on the target now? Thats insane, though it partially nerfs the shaman's DPS. Either you have 1 wep with Flame 1 WF, or if you use a 2H you can only have flame :(

Though don't ele sham always use flame for the extra knock back it creates on spells? Nice little buff for them if and when they do decide to melee sum1. It will help resto/ele shaman in a duel vs another healer.

I'm going to guess that the MS isn't dispelable, like all the other MSs (except wound poison, lol)

The totem change IS very nice, especially for a multiboxer.

The flametongue is interesting, and I think just reflects that PvE +Heal amounts become somewhat unbalanced in PvP. I don't think I'll ever use it much, except for PvE situations. We had two enhance shamans tonight against an Illhoof fight and the debuff would have been nice since we were sans MS warrior or poisoning rogue.

Still, it's not at all what anyone was expecting.

I'd like a new spell, some sort of Lightning-y ground stroke... strikes from the heavens and slows target for a second, or maybe a caster-centered, channeled, AoE lightning storm. mmmm Can't wait for WotLK new abilities.

The global cooldown reduction on Totems is HUGE. It goes perfectly hand in hand with the reduction pulse on Tremor Totem, allowing us to make our forest that much faster and effective!

ive been thinking about the recent shaman changes this morning and heres my conclusion.
Flametounge change is uncreative and a quick fix, Warriors used to be the only ones who could do it at 50%, now rogues have buffed it upto 50%, hunters can now do 50%, whos next..warlocks can now decrease healing done by 50% when using curse of agony.
I thank blizzard for looking at shamans and buffing them, but im more worried on the general direction of the game as a whole. Every class is crying balance, but in the end you cant balance the game. Blizzard need to stop making every class the same. Shamans would like cc, but with the amount of other cc in the game if you give us some, well then we're the same as everyone else. Hopefully Wotlk will bring some more diversity rather than just the same old shit.
Totem change is great, but i think totems need more than 5hp, buff them up a little somehow, maybe 10% of the shamans total hp or somecrap. I guess atleast blizz are trying to help shamans out after so much neglect.
