i have worked out you need to put

/target "playername"
/follow

to follow a player but what is the command to assist and other useful macro's please post them here

there is a guide by lax that has all step by step how to set up all the ingame macros also your follow macro should be
targetexact playername
follow
targetlasttarget

assist would be
assist playername

There is also an option via the game menu whereby you can set your slaves to "cast on target of target" a la LOTRO.

This is helpful for me as it allows your slaves to cast DPS on target of your lead character and also allow you to cast heals on the main without having to mess with switching targets. It also keeps your focus free to do CC

Gomo healing is pretty good if you try

target toon
cast spell
targetlasttarget

It never actually targets the player its casting the heal on.... so you never lose your dps target. Was using this for my rift group.

i do the same thing but i do @mark6 or 7 or 8 and mark up the party

I'm pretty sure I do something like

cast @targettarget healspellname

doesnt work against AOE attacks but if youre tanking you never have to switch targets to heal yourself since what youre attacking will be on you... or you can target the mob that's attacking another party member and heal then taunt.

I have completely changed how I am handling healing buffing curing and debuffing. Ive set up nice click bars to do all kinds of things its almost like having heal bot. Made a few bars for ATG switching, mounting Soul recalling. I wanted to stream line alot of stuff, cause i got my tea to 40 and if im going to start doing endgame stuff with them its got to be good. Im at work atm but when i get home ill post a screen shot of my layout.
