Did a search and didn't find anyone reporting news on changes in 2.4.

But the option to select Pass on (Random) Loot sure is a nice feature, especially with the threads I did find where people were using addons to help with loot pickup and pulling lowbies through instances with a main and still passing around the BoPs and such.

Just tested it with 2 chars on the PTR with the follower (66 rogue lol) set to Pass on Loot, and the leader (70 warrior) was masterlooter.

I was able to loot all corpses with the leader, and any green or higher I could still pass to the rogue. I didn't find right off if it could be macroed, so one could easily on the fly change who had PoL set to yes or no.

But if tied with a Mod that could destroy grey loot, then this would be quick and easy way to pickup coin with main, and pass the good stuff to the clones.

Now all we need is someway to loot quest items and pass them to the other characters :)

Personally I wouldn't destroy greys unless they truely are worthless greys, otherwise your throwing good coin away. But if you need an addon to destroy/sell them theres's always www.lootfilter.com ('http://www.lootfilter.com/'). My biggest problem with looting all with my main is limited bag space - after a while I have no choice but to start looting with my other characters.

I rarely destroy gray loot, unless I'm running instances nonstop and there aren't any vendors nearby. Other than that when my bag on my main are getting full, simply trade all the grays and vendor trash to another toon. Helps if you have all 14 or 16 slot bags. =)

Very true, I would never pass up on gray items unless I was completely out of space. As mentioned just trade some items to one of the alts from time to time. Those grays while not worth much can add up big over time. Also I would make sure to have all my characters with Small Silk bags 14 slotters or preferably 16 sloth Netherweave bags. Trust me the 7gold a piece for the netherweave bags will more than pay for themselves in the long run.

Or have an engineer drop a repair bot and sell :p

This change definitely makes power leveling easier. Is there a way to give grey loot to other party, that would be nice.

My current loot management setup:

Free for all, main picks up all loot. Main has a macro set up on the key that the slaves all use for their follow macro.

/script AcceptTrade()
/script InitiateTrade("target")

All the slaves have an extra line in their follow macro:

"/script AcceptTrade()"

That way, I don't use an extra key for passing around loot. :thumbsup:

Thanks Tehtsuo. I was looking for something like /script InitiateTrade("target")
I knew there was a way but couldn't remember what the command was.

Yeah don't trash the grey's man, they pay your repair bills. Especially the grey weapons, they range from 1-2g a piece.
