Yup, it is me again and I am still pondering what to do.

After I figured that the Warrior/Paladin combo was unplayable, at least for my fingers, I am back at square one. My main target is to be able to see as much of the instance content as possible with a dual team.

I researched DKs and saw some pretty cool soloing on YouTube which sparked the idea for the DK/Paladin (Blood/Holy) team. Yet, I would lose the great synergy of a Paladin/Paladin team with all its buffs.

Is anyone around here who brought a pally team to end game with enough knowledge about DKs to enlighten me about the pros and cons of both combos? And what would be the choice if I brought PvP (not a priority, but still something to think about) into the equation.

BTW, the main reason for my indecisiveness is that this new combo will be the last one I am going to level unless Blizzard comes up with a way to jump straight to 80.

If you're unlikely to change characters...

Paladins can be:
- Melee DPS
- Tank
- Healer

Druids can be:
- Melee DPS
- Range DPS
- Tank
- Healer

The Druid tank lacks Thrash until 81st, which is a core/useful tanking ability.
I'd go with either Paladin/Paladin, Druid/Druid or Paladin/Druid.
As each can be whatever role you want.

So if you're 85th, and decide you want something different...
You already have two toons at maximum, each of which can cover basically any role.

I do already have a druid at 80 whom I run with my 78 hunter. Terrific combo with lots of fun to play.

Saying that, I am really fixed on either the pally/pally or the dk/pally combo. I would probably prefer the later just for the fact to have two different classes. Yet, at least on paper, the pally/pally combo seems to be the strongest choice to solo (well, duo) instances.

Probably I am just nutz and contemplate too much but then, not asking for advice is "nutz'er" :)

Either will work.

Pally/Pally gets you both buffs, and the two most useful auras for your situation.
Both can tank, heal or dps.
So if you decide to go battlegrounds, you could be dual healers or double dps.

The DK in DK/Pally cannot go healer.
But can cover the other two roles.
The rotation will work; basically play the tank mostly and manage healer cooldowns/heals.
If you want to have two different classes for variety, that will definitely work.
