wierd synergy problem, help please

Ok I got my dual box set up and everything, currently boxing my laptop as my main using keyclone to broadcast my keys to my desktop and the desktop is hooked up to my laptop via synergy and when i scroll my mouse over from my laptop to my desktop the wow screen flips out, like it scrolls up down left and right ten times the regular speed and even if i scroll my mouse slowly it still goes fast as hell, i went into the interface and turned down the speed of my mouse in wow but that really didn't do anything, please help! thanks ;)

Common problem with Synergy, which different people report varying degrees of success fixing. I'm one of the ones for whom the fix never worked.

Octopus doesn't have this problem and incorporates a bunch of other nifty features. I've heard that Multibox doesn't have this either, though I never got Multibox working properly.
