PiP support, picture in picture, was added in v1.8. many people have asked what it is, in a nutshell, it would be useful for those multiboxers that have more then 1 wow on their box. imagine your main dies... you need to find a clone and set him as your main. well, before you would have to use one of the tiny little 2x2 where your clone was sitting. not any more.

with PiP, you can hit a single hotkey and your clone will swap with your main... 1 extra hotkey to reset your main to the current clone.. and you're back in business...

and PiP is now even more improved with the requested "Better Operational Organization Based on Selection" capability.
play with it to your hearts content. :D

there is still a little stall as you mouse between screens. on my older box, it takes about 1/10 of a sec.
i'll continue to iron out the issue to try and get it 100%... right now, i'd put it at 97%

I must be a little dense here trying to understand the PiP thingy. Are you saying that it swaps the 2 windows? Like if I have my main in a bigger window on 1 screen and the other windows tiled on a 2nd screen, the PiP will swap the main window with one of the others when I tell it to?

Each number is an instance of WoW. Hit the hot key for WoW 2 and BAM:

With the new "Keyboard" follows focus. It keeps randomly swamping focus back to the my main. Keeps screwing me up, when I'm trying to control my alt

This is the bomb! I just wanted to drop a line or three of thanks and state how absolutely kickass this is! While I haven't had a chance to work with this extensively yet (It's going to require rewriting a LOT of macro's to make them friendly to switching mains) it's going to enable me to NOT completely disaster mode when my tank dies!

For my 5 shaman team it will TRIVIALIZE collection quests! Just switch mains until you get all 283473294823 items to drop for each toon!

Imo, PIP swapping will really give us software guys a positive side to picking software over hardware multiboxing. What we lose in response time and fps we gain by being able to switch mains a little smoother. ^^

From what I read about Xzin's setup, he had the same capability using the KVM in conjuction with the Vetra multiplexer and a hotkey sequence to switch the display over to whichever computer he wanted all via hardware.

well.. you don't want to know how much he spent on that setup. a quality 5+ port KVM along is going to be over $100. and the vetra ain't cheap.

Oh, I know how much a setup like that costs. Which is why I decided to go with your handy-dandy-next-best- thing-since-sliced-bread-app. I was just pointing out that it is possible to swap toons to your main monitor via hardware and not just with software ;)

I had some problems with Version D with the mute feature. Version E seems to have fixed it, and I LOVE the way the new mute button placement looks. :thumbup:

v1.8e is definitely working better so far than d was. I didn't experience a loss of communication between the 2 KC's like before but then last night I was only running 1 on my second computer, not my usual 2. I'll test more tonight.

I like the new Mute window but have a request. Could you please have an option to either leave the windows title bar on the mute window so it can be dragged somewhere other than the center of the screen and remember that position or have somewhere to configure it in KC where it pops up? I ran into an issue where I was doing bombing runs in Ogri'la and would keep catching the mute window with my mouse on my main screen and it caused issues. I also use my space bar a lot while bombing and my priest kept jumping so that's why I kept my mute on.

the new 'mute' override overlay button can be dragged around. just click in the middle and drag it.

it can also be resized.

I've had the "mute" overlay go into "Not Responding" mode more than once on my slave XP Pro laptop, which seems to also stop my laptop wow from receiving any information. I have to force quit keyclone and restart and to resume normal operation. This has cost me a couple of arena matches this week. Never had this problem before with the old versions (running e atm).

Anyway I can get a previous version until this is fixed?

Any word on focus switching back to my "Main" when both cursor and keyboard commands were being sent to my alt? Get's annoying moving around on my alt to have it suddenly start moving my main.

Got me killed on Prince quite a lot (first time in a raid environment) when trying to move my alt out when enfeebled to have it start moving my main not giving me time to get out of the AoE.

What I do is leave shift + wsad/q/e/r OFF of the Do Not Pass list, so if I do need to move them quicker than /follow I can just hold shift and strafe right/left/backup/run forward and all the alts end up moving quickly
