rolled into random bgs for about a day this weekend with three 80 shamans with AH greens all specced enhancement. Pretty much blew people up and was unkillable running into a mob of people when wolves were up. All in all a very fun tri box to play. Killing 84s or even multiple 84s at a time did not seem problematic, particualrly if wolves were up. Tremor round robin for fear, earthbind totem talented for snare and the only thing that really stops you is root - much like the DK team.

A couple of things are annoying and i am not sure are solvable.

1. maelstrom procs - can't seem to find any meangingful way of using these

2. round robin hex without stopping all my toons from attacking / running at a target to cast it.

3. a button that stops all the toons from moving and chain heals.

all in all a good fun for a tribox

You can use your maelstrom procs to cast hex.

You can manually stop all your toons with a movement key, then cast your heals as needed.

I'm currently playing 1 holy pally, 4 enhance at lvl 85, and its pretty fun. Wolves make you a wrecking ball.

Didnt that mage guy have a thing that shows when he has the procc for arcane missiles in the BOT trash farm video? Coudnt something similar be made for this?

I know jamba has a proc notification management system. sure it wasn't that :P

Jamba will notify master regarding maelstrom procs but it doesnt tell you how many stacks you have.

For hex issue, remove IWT from whatever key hex is bound to.

For healing issue, use a key like caps lock or something. Press and hold down to strafe left. Release (key up) causes them to chain heal each themselves (target self so if one is dead is doesnt screw up everyone else).

Thanks for the responses guys. My responses to some of the ideas:

1. katsurahama idea of holding down a key to break movement and chain healing on release sounds really good. I will try this out today.

2. Hex issue. i can make them all stop in a similar way as katsurahama suggested but the dps loss is huge. What i really want to set up but i'm not sure if is possible is for for a single spammable button that will cast hex on whoever's turn it is on the round robin and stop their movement so they can cast it while still commanding the other two toons to IWT with the target and burn through their usual dps sequence. And i would want this to work with whatever screen i was on. Otherwise in order to cast hex (if you dont have Maelstrom proc) u have to stop your movement of all toons. Does that make sense?

3. What is really effective but sometimes buggy is to put chain heal in your normal dps spam button and because your running all the time with IWT in pvp when you have 5 stacks of maelstrom it will just make all toons automatically cast chain which is huge for keeping the team alive. The problem i found with this is that in some situations they won't be running through with IWT like if a paladin is standing still spamming heals and your toons were killing a guy right next to him. Could something be set up do this anyway if u figure you get a 5 stack of maelstrom say every 10 seconds or so, and put a macro of some sort onto the psuedo priority spam sequence to do that?

sorry if these questions sound nooby i am just learning how to use ISboxer and am really enjoying playing around with the key mapping.

You could put the Maelstrom/Chain Heal, as a mapped key.
And then imbed it, in your spam macro via a Do Mapped Key action.

Which you could then enable/disable via a toggle key.
So when you wanted the random Chain Heals to go off, the key is enabled.
When you just want to kill, and never heal as part of your killing/spam, disable the mapped key.

Pitbull4 can show how many stacks of MW. You could set Pitbull up to display only MW procs {I have mine configured to only show the icon when I have a full stack} then set up a Repeater region {or regions} to spend the proc on healing, LB or whatever.

You can actually even set up a seperate group for Pitbull to deal with procs, it doesn't even need to be on your player portraits. Just set up a new meta group to show MW@5, hide all the bars and portraits and put it somewhere easy to see, then set up a repeater region over it. Here's a screenshot (http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?p=316709#post316709) of how I have it set up {With HKN, but the concept is the same}. It's not showing, but I have a small Dominos bar set up under the Pitbull procs frame that has Icon only macros on it that appears in combat; the region is set up over that.
