We boxers were doing this YEARS ago. This hasn't even been released yet.
Neat concept but not exactly original.

It scares me to know the leg isn't in the middle when all 8 are on, but I'm sure it's fine :D

It scares me to know the leg isn't in the middle when all 8 are on, but I'm sure it's finelol I thought the same thing. It really does not look like it can sit right. But it does.
None the less it looks cool.
Oh believe me, you can use 8. I have 12 and I could use more.

I just got my second triple horizontal Ergotron stand yesterday and made my combined 2-into-1 hex monitor stand, which I have 5 on there right now. Considering how heavy that damn stand is with 5..........I shudder to think of the 8 monitor weight and that little mounting base. :cursing:

I know 8 montiors would look impressive, but could you really use all 8 productively?
Easily :p
Although for me it would be more for work purposes than multiboxing.

I know this forum is about multiboxing but imagine using maximizer to expand and WoW window to all the monitors

None the less it looks cool.looks to me like the pole that connects to the desk has a pivot. this is why it seems like its not centered, but it is. if you wait for the other pictures to scroll through, you will see one from the rear, though angled. you can clearly see from that picture that its centered, or at least, you can center it if you want. also, the second row is optional. so you can buy the version with just one row, or add an additional row. my only concern is... will anyone's desk be sturdy enough to hold 8 monitors?!!??

My set up is still way the best.
These makers dont seem to understand simple geomatry that you cant have monitors the same size and also have the center of each the exact same distance away from you, and not have the rows different sizes.
My 4 big and 2 smaller is the max set up, with having a main monitor right in front of you. You could also go to 10 monitors with 8 big and 2 small.
What junk you cant even angle the top row to face downward.
If you have more you will have to much head movment or you have to have more smaller (like 21 and 17 instead of 24 and 20).

To me anything short of tiling on the same screen causes you to rely on peripheral and rubber necking too much. With that said I use a two monitor setup now, with the primary being my tank only with my 4 dps'ers on the second monitor. With Jamba, and a custom UI I rarely have to worry about the other screens. I want to upgrade my primary computer to handle 5 boxing. I think 1 large window with 4 tiled on the side is the best way to go. I just wish PiP was a bit faster.
Sam.. for love of pete please... clean up your desktop I have not seen that many icons randomly tossed up on a single screen let alone multiple. :)

If you're not tilting your monitors downward and inward and you're using 5+ then you're torturing yourself. Sam is right (and so humble), you need to do it yourself to get it to work just right. Different sized monitors is not necessary if you don't mind minor amounts of overlap and gapping.
