Alright, I know specs are/have been covered at length - so if you don't want to reply don't worry there's no obligation :)
I currently run a Paladin, 2xMage, 1xWarlock, 1xPriest team. Because of my team composition, I was thinking of this:

As a spec for the warlock. I am interested in Shadowburn because it matches well with my "finish the mob off button" - Fireblast on the mages with SW: Death on the priest. I mainly want Demo spec because I love the off-tank elements. My mages seem to handle the DPS pretty well, though lately when I figure in the pet to the total damage contribution my warlock actually out-damages the 2 mages.
Comments? Recommendations?

That spec should work for you ok. However your felguard cleave could give you problems if you don't turn it off and you're using a lot of CC. Affliction would prob be a better spec for you in your set-up, and you still can get shadowburn plus a extra insta AOE fear.

Yeah, I actually setup a key to turn on/off the Cleave - non-instance it's actually pretty nice - my Warlock (with pet) now handily out-dps's the mages. I also like to send the Felguard at the next mob on my list (instead of the one I am fighting) to "soften it up" - usually a single volley will kill it after I spent time working on the previous. So far, it's been pretty nice. I was using heavy affliction/demo before, but nothing was really alive long enough for my warlock to get the damage in. I am thinking with stronger pets the warlock will be less micro-management than before and still be a decent contributer.

It seems to me as if you are really gimping your warlocks dps with that spec. I think that most people who roll locks in a group do full destruction. I prefer a 0/21/40 demonic sacrafice build, that way you could have your succibus out for cc and when not needed just sacrifice her for an extra 15 percent shadow damage, or if you go firelock, which might be the best with fire mages, sacrafice an imp. Just throw up a curse of shadows/elements and dps away. If you really wanted to go demonology I would suggest a 0/41/20 ('http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/warlock/talents.html?0000000000000000000002050030133250100 511351505000512200000000000') build. That way you get shadowburn, 5 percent more crit, increased range, threat reduction and 70 percent chance to resist interruption, which is really nice when you aoe with hellfire. Instant cast corruption or any other affliction spell isn't going to work out so well with the mages burst damage. I wouldn't suggest putting points into imp imp, imp voidwalker, imp succubus AND felguards... Seems like wasted talent points if you ask me. Pet offtanks work ok for regular instances but they won't last more than 2 hits if you ever plan on doing heroics, if that is what you want to eventually end up doing you should probably practice running with a succubus and cc'ing mobs rather than offtanking. But hey, that's just my thoughts on the topic. I would also suggest demonic embrace for 15 precent more stamina because you're going to have to life tap in order to increase the locks mana pool so he can keep up with the mages.
