4x LCDs

how much should i be willing to pay for on a basic "box style" setup for 4 17"-20" LCD monitors and a second 8-series geforce graphics card?

by "box style" i mean have something like this:

i want to use some sort of a stand to have the top two be directly above the others

BTW i want non-wide screen(the picture is a very bad drawing)

Find 1 like you want on sale, buy 4. LCD flat screen of course, and then just build a stand.

Yeah, like sense said, just cruise newegg. Your best value will be in the 1280x1024 resolution 19" LCD's, think you can get them for about $170/ea now (don't feel like shopping for you). You can also check outlet.dell.com, sometimes they have good deals on there. For the graphics card the 8800 GTS is about $250 now I think. Making your stand is highly adviseable if you have the equipment, or ghetto it like many do by placing top ones on speakers. The stands I've seen are $150+ for what you're doing.

On another note, I'd really suggest a different config. Specifically something like

2=1=3

Reason for this is that we all pretty much focus on one screen, and the others are just for occaisional reference and looting/questgivers/etc. This triangle setup helps balance thing out appropriately. Just a thought.
