Anyone testet DPS between single and multibox?
I assumed Multibox DPS stays behind single DPS. But i dont have any comparative value if my gap is to big.
When i multibox my dps persist 8%-10% behind my singlebox-dps (in all DPS-Rotas). Is your dps-gap this big too?

In PvP i ignore the DPS, your enemys are moving and much more

I haven't checked my DPS since prior to the honor grind.
All my abilities fire off as they're supposed to, so I've been happy enough with that.

I've found in 2's (playing only one toon), I've been using abilities that are never used in BG's with my full team.
Chains of Ice is a 100% move reduction, with Chillbains.
But on the BG team, I just Howling Blast spam from range with 4x the DK's.

I still have the two rotations.
HB > FS > NS > BS vs OBL > BS > FS.

Obliterate in PvP?

Use HB and NS = profit

Sometime is simple better ;)

The basic rotations are:

A: Howling Blast > Frost Strike > Necrotic Strike > Blood Strike

This is AoE (the Howling Blast) and damages several opponents at once.
Frost Strike is a priority over Unholy/Blood runes, because of its chance to regenerate a rune.

B: Obliterate > Blood Strike > Frost Strike

This is entirely single target damage, but benefits from Outbreak applying diseases to the target first.
When hitting a single target, this hits much harder than the Howling Blast rotation.
And the Hungering Cold on round-robin, to CC a lot of the other team lets you pick and choose who dies while the others are helpless... (HC > They Trinket > HC.... and two more HC's to repeat in 30 seconds, after Diminishing Returns).

i have 2 main rotations:

1. Obliterate + a bit hb(mostly on freezing fog)
2. HB + NS

My obliterate rota produce always more DPS then my hb+ns-rota. Of course when im out of range or the enemy become heals i change to hb+ns.
With HB i can do a little more burst for a short time, but i find out that burst with DK is really shit.
You cant down a opponent with 130hp and 3,5k resi under 4seconds.

Nothing can mess with the burst of shamans in BC. 18k Damage from 5 shamans on targets with max 14k hp within 0,5sec.

HB ignore armor, NS absorb ignore armor, Obli dont ignore armor and you need the DoTs on your enemys ...

everyone can play like he want, but with 4.1 ...

Do what you like ... and when the enemys are freezed i use IT/CoI but most time i freeze and run to another target

but my english is to low to talk here, good luck and i hope we meet us in the arena in sime future

What rotation do you use against veichles in Bgs like Sota? I tend to use my normal NS+HB rotation and think it works good, but would spells like Plague strike be a better option?

I just use the normal HB/NS rotation against vehicles too. Plague strike hits slightly harder and the dot is useful, but not worth setting up a separate rotation IMO :P

In regard to the single target rotation for obliterate, I do find that it is a really nice way to land some good burst and avoid breaking cc. Although HB + NS is good for damage, it does take up 2 GCDs and the NS gets a significant amount of "damage" from the absorb. If I have a target at <100% health who has blown a defensive cooldown, I like hitting this single target combo to push for the kill. I will generally get 1 oblit, 1 auto attack and 1 frost strike in the same 2 GCDs with at least 1 of them critting. This is generally twice as much damage as the HB/NS combo for a single target.

Same Rota vs Vehicles, but i dont use a Rota, i use a Priority System.

Since i play without Obli it works great for me in arena and i can spend all points like i want

Pretty much the same as others.

Against a vehicle, I use the Howling Blast rotation.
Mainly for two reasons; it is a substantial snare, and it does AoE damage to hit anyone escorting the vehicle... which makes mopping up after the vehicle dies easier.

A question... does talented Chilblains http://www.wowhead.com/spell=50041 cause Chains of Ice to root a vehicle?

I generally go with the HB rotation most of the time.

But will switch to the Obliterate rotation, in conjunction with Hungering Cold + Empower Rune Weapon.

In 4.1, per ten seconds, we will have either:
a) An extra 1x Obliterate
b) An extra 2x Howling Blast
c) An extra 2x Necrotic Strike
d) An extra 1x Howling Blast and 1x Necrotic Strike
