What are you using to Heal your team while you are in battlegrounds?
Having my team in different groups in the raid renders my current Healbot setup useless.
I wish I could always have my team in the same spots as when grouped even in Battlegrounds.

At the moment, I'm playing the 4x DK + 1x Paladin set up.
I have two methods of healing, plus a couple of "specials" on their own keys.
My DK's either spam "1" or "2", technically "6" as well but I don't use that much.
Irregardless of what the DK's spam (1, 2, or 6) the Pally receives an alternating 1-2-1-2...
On 1:
#show Holy Shock
/castsequence [@focus,exists,nodead] Flash of Light, Flash of Light
/cast [@focus, exists, nodead] Holy Shock
On 2:
#show Word of Glory
/castsequence [@focus, exists, nodead] reset=combat Holy Shock, Holy Shock, Holy Shock, Word of Glory
If I have a living focus set, this auto spams them with the fastest/biggest heals I have.
This is used frequently in arena, and infrequently elsewhere.
I also have Holy Radiance on its own key.
PBAoE heal for 10 seconds, every 30 seconds or so.
I have the "big button" for Divine Favor, Trinkets, Guardian of Ancient Kings, Divine Protection, Aura Mastery... use this when I need burst healing; they're all off of the GCD.
95% of my battleground healing is via Grid + Clique.
- Left = Flash of Light
- Right = Cleanse
- Scroll Up = Holy Shock
- Scroll Down = Word of Glory
- Thumn #2 = Divine Light
My Grid Custom Layout displays my team in column one.
And the rest of the raid in columns two through eight, as needed.
Everything is an alphabetical sort on all screens, so I can heal from any window.

Thanks for tip.
I never did see how to make a custom layout with Grid in the past so I dumped it.
I think I now see my mistake. GridCustomLayouts is an extension addon for Grid.
Is that what you are using?

Correct.
Grid
Grid Custom Layouts
Clique
You can use Healbot or Vuhdo in the place of those three addons.
Really the only difference from one to another is your visual preference.
My custom layout is:
ToonA,ToonB,ToonC,ToonD,ToonE;NAME
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8;5/8;NAME;NR
I have thirty seven names listed on line one.
There are no spaces, each is separated by a comma.
It ends in semi-colon and then NAME which is all caps.
This NAME command makes the column one sort alphabetical.
The next line is 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 which indicates it should display toons from groups 1-8
The 5/8 means the grid will be five rows deep and eight columns wide.
NAME is another alphabetical sort.
And NR means No Repeating, so anything that appears earlier (in column one) will not appear elsewhere.
End result, when I'm on with five toons mine are all listed in column one.
In alphabetical order.
And the rest of the raid/battleground are in columns 2-8, also alphabetically sorted.
Then create a Repeater Region over the whole thing.
Have it forward clicks to the toon/toons of your choice.
You can also bring up the GUI and resize it, sync it and save... for larger repeater regions in a BG and make it small again for your one-box group in heroics.

I run three healers as a trio in bgs. I use the grid, clique, gridcustomlayouts method that Ualaa talks about. I use send next click in isboxer to drop lightwell while driving from the paladin.

Correct.

ToonA,ToonB,ToonC,ToonD,ToonE;NAME
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8;5/8;NAME;NR
Wow that was a lot more simple than I thought it would be!! Thank you Ualaa
Now to set up Clique and I will have what I was looking for.

would be possible to have two grid windows running?
I am totally hooked on having a grid layout for just my team. Makes healing in BG's a snap!
But now I want another Grid that I can use for healing the rest of the battle group raid in a different location.
I wonder if you could run both grid2 and original grid at the same time and achieve that?

If you just want 10/15/25/40 man unsorted raid frames then just install VuhDo, HealBot, or use your unit frame's raid frames (if
you use one.) Even if you use one of those I listed there is still some type of sorting available.

I concur.
Cannot think of a way for you to have two different Grid configurations on your screen.
Which gets you either one Grid configuration which might be just your team or it might be the entire raid, but sorted so your toons are in column one and the rest of the raid is in the other columns.
If you want two sets of frames, go with two of the three: Grid + Healbot + Vuhdo.
All three have similar sorting options.

Well I might be missing the point but if you have a tank, healer, dps combo what I do is just have macros for the healer to heal the tank which should be out in front taking the most damage first (people is wise to the theroy that when attacking a boxer you go for the lead toon), then the whole purpose of using restro shaman healing is that you don't have to click on individuals in combat just spam chain heal. And you have jamba for individual heals as needed (but thats way to slow in combat I know).
But I havn't been in a BG for months and months so not really sure.
That business of not haveing guys in the same group all the time in BG's ticks me off a lot also.

You can do a custom layout that may have all of your guys together and the rest of the raid group where ever. I drive my healer and can use my clique + WOW raid UI + Jamba to heal my crew or the full group in BGs. And I also have the typical spam cast sequence for healing tank in an instance but my lvl 85 crew has not been successful in 85 cata instances... think it is a CC issue more than a heal issue.

Heal other people? What is this nonsense? :) just playing. I use Healbot for other characters and Grid custom for my guys.
Heal bot has basically the same setup that grid has but i found it a little less reliable than Clique and Grid combo.

Not being in the same group can suck depending on your composition.
For my current team, the healer heals anyone I want via the Grid Frame.
And the DK's don't have party specific stuff, so it doesn't impact me.
With party-wide shammy buffs, splitting the team absolutely sucks and there's nothing we can do about it.
I find it easier to click on a Grid frame for heals, than to have a bunch of macros on keybinds; I'm already using a ton of keybinds.
I am spamming one of three keys, pretty much constantly while the battle is going.
So don't have the time to stop my spamming DPS, to move my fingers to other keys.
The far left column (my toons) naturally has priority.
But in BG's, being able to heal others just by doing the same click on their frame that I do on my own...
And combine that with Death Grip and DPS spam...
Lets my healer save people who would otherwise die.
My DK's aren't losing statistics, like honor kills or killing blows... they're actually gaining on kills via this tactic.
And keeping people alive with a healer, makes a far greater impact in BG's than killing the other side.
It isn't hard to be in the top six or seven players for Honor Kills, every AV win or lose.
My Pally is almost always top healer, for sure top three in 95% or more of the games.
The DK's usually share the killing blow lead, for both sides too.
