So I finnaly received my battleground boxes and started my multiboxing experience with 1 pally (will be prot) 3 shamans and 1 mage, all draenei.
I wanted to throw in a lock but was a bit scared of being overwhelmed with too much different classes.
I rolled on US PVE server Lightbringer (PST) where I already have 3 level 70 (holy priest, feral druid and rogue). I don't plan on power leveling for now because
I really need to practice controlling my group in instances because this is my ultimate goal (running instances in BC, maybe even heroics).
Next step is leveling to 20 and try deadmines :P
I also need to set up my macros because for now I only have the basics: follow / assist and the accept macros.

Thanks for the forum, I learned a lot from you guys !!!

Awesome Sanix, keep it up! The mage is probably a wise move, I am not so wise. :) However, I have started a little trio of mages that provided I don't lose interest again (I think I've deleted about 12 mage toons) can help with ports, water, etc. and I can match swap in and out. If I make all the way with them, and I'm assuming for now my level 60 shaman+pally group will make it, then I'll have 11 level 70's to choose from for running instances, ROFLMAO.

Anyway, post some screenies and your setup in the screenshot forum and have fun!

Sanix, your avatar wins at breasts.

My main has always been a holy priest, hence the avatar ...

Btw, my new team is now level 11. I played like 3h yesterday and only got 2 levels, this is going to be a long journey to 70 :)

3 hours? Assuming you're not still doing setup/tweeking there's something definitely wrong. The quest rewards start at 20, IIRC, but 1-20 has always been easy. Maybe you should group your quests by locations a little, like in those osofamous guides, and do turn ins in larger clumps. Another possibility that I like is to try another starting area. I did this for rep once and found it incredibly easy and almost equally rewarding. Didn't head to the 10-20 area until I was 12-15ish and now that area was easy too. I dunno, in retrospect, 1.5 hours per level doesn't sound *too* bad, but I seem to remember going up really fast below 20.

Grouping quests is not the problem, I'm slow because I'm new to multiboxing and not used to controlling all five characters.
I also did a few collections quests which took a lot of time, started to level herbing / mining and skinning.
I'm sure it'll be faster when I'm more confortable with the group.

Ah yes, understandable. Learning curve for me was kinda high too and you only have 3 spells at lvl 10. I had two more major adjustments as that number grew and I'm sure I'll have more. I also did my profs on the way up and that soaked up a lot of time too, but they're maxed out and full of gold, so I'm not regretful.
