Hello everyone! So I recently stumbled upon the idea of multi-boxing from a friend who boxes shamans and was looking to try this idea myself. The first question I wanted to ask was if I linked 2 accounts to my main account, would they get the triple experience if I ran them through instances since they are linked to the main account or do I have to activate one account and then RAF the other?
Also, was wondering which class would be considered for 4 boxing. Would like to keep the same class for the 4 characters.
Thanks! :)

Read through the site here. There's an entire sub forum devoted to which classes to box.

Well what about the RAF question? If I link 2 accounts to my main account, will they also be linked?

You should read through Blizzard's Information regarding RAF. Multiboxing is something you don't just jump into. It requires some planning and some thought process. If you can't do that, you're just wasting your time, and ours.
You will find this is a very helpful community once you've shown you're willing to do your own legwork. Go read, come ask pointed and direct questions and you'll never find yourself without an answer.

When you link accounts, each receives the bonus experience if they meet the requirements for RAF.
The characters are within +/- 4 levels of each other.
The characters are grouped.
They are within a certain short distance of each other.
The mob/quest is at least green (not greyed out) for both of them.
They are both level 59 or lower.
If your parent account, with a level 80 booster on it, is "A".
And you RAF link like this:
A > B > C
A > B
This does not qualify for RAF bonuses, because A is 80th which is higher than 59th.
B > C
Two level 1's (all the way up to level 59) should meet the requirements.
So B + C will both gain RAF bonuses because they meet the requirements.
It doesn't matter that A > B don't meet the requirements, B still gets RAF because of B > C.
If you ran a lowbie on A as well.
Then all three get RAF.
I would go A (Booster)
With B, C, D and E.
If you're starting out, a basic chain:
A > B > C > D > E
Ideally boost four or eight toons, by the end of RAF.
You can grant levels (one per every even level you gain), to the account that referred you.
So when you boost BCDE four toons to 60th (from 1st)...
They each give 30 x 4, or two 60's.
But those 60's give a 60 each.
The levels cascade, but you need a multiple of two (60's) per jump.
1 Jump = 2 Toons Boosted; 2 Jumps = 4 Toons Boosted; 3 Jumps = 8 Toons Boosted... to end up with a full toon on the last account.
Even if you don't end up with a full toon, you are getting free levels.

If you want to watch a boring video that pretty much still holds true:

Disregard the section about Battle.Net and authenticators as that has changed.
