So I went into Underbog, cleared the whole place pretty quickly, and killed the Black Stalker easily, by spreading out a little, tanking him away from the group, and burning him down. Then, I come back to do another run, and I realized that the reason why I beat him so easily the first time was because only my shammies got levitated, not my tank. I've tanked this guy on my warrior, and I don't remember getting levitated by him.
As soon as I get levitated, he switches targets and starts killing my shammies one by one. I have about three times as much threat as the second-highest, but as soon as I'm in the air he just drops off me. Some people have suggested dispelling the levitate, but it auto-re-applies, so even when I spam dispel I can't make much progress. I don't really understand what's up with this fight; I don't remember him behaving like this. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Eh nevermind, I remembered that there was supposedly some mushroom you could stand under to avoid levitate. So I positioned the shammies on the right, got under what looked like a fine specimen on the left, and that worked. He still levitated me, but I was stuck under the mushroom and he didn't de-aggro. I think that's pretty lame, though.

I've never seen this.
Check your threat meter. Is there a chance that your shammies are "tanking" via the threat table?

for this fight i put all my casters and dps were under the mushroom in the cove together stacked up. I tanked the black stalker at max healing range under the other mushroom in the main room (pally tank)
its pretty good becuz if your pally looses aggro or gets levitated some how even though he under the mushroom. The second the black stalker goes for the other dps classes in the corner he ll de aggro cuz they jus a bit to far away (if he does make it to them jus have them back up a tad and he ll reset)
But when your sure of the kill you can jus bring em towards him at the last second. I pretty much practiced the whole fight this way so the only person i would loose would be the pally! and only some times! cuz when he looses aggro he can jus run outta range too! LOL
fear bombs in slave pens though... now thats annoyin! LOL

I'm usually at twice the threat of my shammies or more at that point in the fight, so unless there's some effect that Omen isn't aware of, my pally is still the tank. And I always have aggro when I use the lame-o mushroom trick, so I don't think that's the problem. When I tried using dispel, I cast it about four times before giving up; the levitate debuff seemed to just pulse back on immediately. I was getting to the ground a little bit faster, but he'd already gobbled down one shammy and was working on a second by that point.
Using the mushroom makes the fight an easy tank-n-spank, but I hate tricks like that :(
Fear bombs are no problem with shammy power ;)
