I was wondering how the other boxers are handling Coinlocker? Having to put in the code x5 just got irritating and closed all my accounts. I'm just wondering if others find it as irritating as i do.
i dont find it irritating at all, it am in fact pleased that they are trying to produce a system to protect our stuff.
Its only irritating because we play multiple accounts, its something we have to deal with, we are the exception to the casual gamer and they dont build things to suit our needs.
I have only had to input my codes 5 times only once, if you are having to do it each time you log in then there are other issues.

get a static IP? This is not an issue to close your accounts over, Kimchi... you should relax :P

The only time I need tor redo it, is if I login to my AH/bank toon from my laptop.
If I do that, then I need to enter it, then I need to enter another code when I login to that account when I actually want to play.

Please dont get me wrong, I think Coinlocker was a great thing and I'm glad they implemented it. The issue i was having is every time i logged in i had to get a new code to unlock coinlocker. I mean every time. log off for 5 minutes and come back in and i had to redo it.
Seems like no one else is having this issue so i guess something else is wrong on my end.
Thanks for your response. Guess i'll contact Rift support.

That was fixed and I don't have coin lock issues anymore.

Coin lock only detects different ip, not different computer, right?

If it's ip based, you'd think there would be a secondary detect for the same computer. Given all the people on laptops and wifi...

I think it's based on a combo of IP Address + port #
Whenever I log in from laptop after using my gaming PC I need to enter a coin lock and the reverse is also true.
However, I haven't done that in a while, so maybe the issue has been addressed since I last tried.
