Yes, this was the PTR when you could do premades.

4 warriors was to test to do MC boxing. It.... failed.

Miserably :)

Yeah. Mostly. Melee hit boxes are such a pain to box.

Shadowbane had formations, DAoC had /stick commands and /face.... WoW - none of that.

I'd kill for a /face command -.-

Even with /stick and /face, melee sucks for multi-boxing. In DAoC, I tried 6 valks (plus shaman and healer), but didn't get far before I gave up.

It's even worse when melee depends on reactionary styles for maximum damage. In WoW, reactionary styles are not nearly as common as in DAoC.

/face *is* nice for casters tho. :)

Like I said, i'd kill for a /face command even if I'd still use mainly casters :)
And I have a /pizza/chinese/etc command, tis called a wife, you just need to add "please I love you" works really well :P

I still assume that the otherway around should be good: 1 war 4 shams

Yep, if the shamis are elemental you have decent healing and great ranged dps, for a long time you'll one shot everything. The warrior will never have to stop as long as 1 shami has enough mana to throw a heal :)

I wonder how a 1 war 4 sham group would do in pvp

Depends how chaotic the fight is I guess, if you got the warrior in range to charge, and bound the key so that charge breaks follow on the shamis, and then start casting chain lightning... that could be fun, charge, lightning x 4, MS and then 4 x shock. Throw in hamstring and earthbind totems, windfury, strength, agility totems etc and you'd have a decent combo imo, just not sure how easy it would be to control later on with all the chaos of a fight and targets moving around. If someone gets behind ur shaman group it's gonna be a pain to get them facing the target

An Earthbind Totem and then a Fire Nova Totem will quickly change the mind of someone trying to get with in melee range of 4 Shamans. After the Fire Nova's go off, 4x Magma Totems or 4x Searing Totems to take care of anything else. ;)

Heh, I tried 4 feral druids on the PTR last weekend. Ow. Absolutely correct that melee ranging is a huge PITA. It sorta works but that whole melee-hits-break-/follow mechanic is Sofa King We Todd Did.
