How Many Hours /played per week 5 boxers....

So, you are paying $75/month to play, how much per hour does it cost you. I don't know why I always look at this number, but when I play I usually do about 15-20/week (1 account), and that will cost me about $1.06 per hour at 80 hrs per month (not bad) for 5 accounts.

Just curious on what some of you others play....especially you XZin..

The way I look at it is that I'm paying for another cable, or satellite TV. $75 ($65 if you go with 6mo. sub.) is a fair price to pay.

Scrutinizing costs per hour will only make you play less in the long run ^_~

But yah, if you really need to know, I currently play 3 hours a day on average (dual-box). I expect to average probably one more hour per day once I get my 5-box setup.

Haha - I think in the past 2 years I have 40 - 50 days total /played, maybe a bit more because of afks, etc (I tend to not log off because my waters will poof).

I love to get into it but honestly - despite the massive amount of time and effort I put into this, I enjoy the end result very much but the process of building it is also quite enjoyable too....

So - quite a lot less than most people would assume.

Except when I was grinding Warlord.

That was just dumb in terms of how much time was wasted there.

I don't really care if it costs $75 or $150 a month. I don't even think about it, I just pay it and play when I want to.

Woot, thats what I like to hear. Im having a blast just researching the hardware im going to buy, been a geek all my life. Ive avoided lua like the plague because I know it will just suck me right in, plus, I write c# all day long at work.

I cannot imagine your grind to rank 14, I took a priest to 10 and that was tough, of course that was right before the PVP patch.

getting to rank 14 itself must have taken a while i cant imagine only 40-50 hours played in the span of 2 years

I use an addon for FuBAR called AllPlayed for this.

Last time i checked it had hit 87 days played across all the characters.

you have to merge the data from the other machines into the savedvariables for the addon to get it to notice the others, or you have to log into each account with the main machine to get it to work.

wish EQ2 had a modular programming interface, as I'm now running on that game instead.

Oh and costs... uhm.

6 accounts in EQ2 is 15 bucks a month. Plus the one main in WOW that i keep around, plus the DDO account. That's 8 accounts for 15 bucks a pop. Drives my girlfriend nuts.

Per hour? uhm. i average 4 hours a night, with 8 to 10 hour binges, followed by days of drought. so, let's call it 3 hours a night, every night. 21 hours a week, 5 weeks a month, 105 hours, so a buck an hour or so. not bad, really, for the level of entertainment, but not something most people would choose to do.

I run 3 accounts, 4 sometimes...

I raid 4 days a week, 4 hours a day... 16 hours.
I play randomly for another 10-20 hours a week, call it 30 a week all said and done.

The $45/month I spend on WoW Sub's, another $20/month on Ventrilo, $10/month for my guilds website, $20/month on RDX, etc, etc is nothing compared to what I would knock back in a SINGLE night at a bar drinking.

$95/month for WoW and all associated expenses... 120 hours.

Taking my girlfriend to the movies once...
$20 - Tickets
$10 - Soda/Candy (we share)
$10 - Ice cream after (tradition)
Or a single night out being $40... we do this weekly so $160/month for 12 hours...

Of course, Somehow I tend to get nookie more often after raid than I do after movies... (I love dating a gamer chick!)
