I have 5 shamans that I 5 box on same pc. I am learning to use them very well but my biggest problem is handling aoe fear, my guys always head out in different directions and I end up with major problems trying to get them back together. I would love to start doing end game content with them but im afraid I could wipe my raid if that happens. What do you guys do to handle group aoe fear? Any suggestions or tips would be so greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Tremor totem. End of story.
It is more a pvp problem than a pve problem though.

Check this out, very helpful.

Well, Yea i already use round robin and stagger my tremor totems so they proc every second but that dont stop say a warrior from running up and doing aoe fear while your fighting some mobs or something, then all my guys are scattered to the four corners, making it difficult for me to pvp.

Unexpected fears can still cause me to wipe. I think the trick is to broadcast movement keys to your other 4 so you can manually turn them around and head back into the main. Just as soon as you get back in range drop those tremors and kill that SoB quick! FROST SHOCK!

If shammy could only be undead. The Tremor tot sometimes does not recover all members fast enough. You could always to for the pvp trinket. one is 5 min , one is 2. 2mins if better but cost 16k honor.

What about a macro that uses follow to get everyone back together? Have the clones all /follow the main and the main /follow the 1st clone.

I find that tremor totem acts fast enough for most things in PvE. After a fear I hit my follow macro (followed immediately by the 'spread' macro if they're not too far out) to get them all together again.

With 5 Shammies, just make the very first thing you drop a tremor totem.... its only one slot on one toon. Always always always drop one.

Hell, write a start combat macro on one toon even so you dont' forget...

/castsequence [nocombat] tremor totem, lightning bolt ; [combat] lightning bolt

Edited the above since you'll never go into combat with that macro. ;)

Can't do range detection checks in a macro.

Also, this is why I have my "move forward" key bound to /follow focus on all my alts. I just move forward after hitting my trinket/WoTF key and they all come a-runnin'. Nice thing about shammies is that they can throw out an insta-shock while they're regrouping so you're not losing precious seconds of DPS while recovering.

Interesting concept. Can you write a macro that will:

/follow 1 (if in range)
/follow 2 (if in range)
/follow 3 (if in range)
etc...

Or will it just error out with an "our of range" error?

So everybody follow's the nearest character to get everyone grouped back up? I really like the idea though. You'd just have to be quick switching back to the "follow main" setup.

My follow macro goes along the lines of...

/target [target=focus,help,nodead][target=party1,nodead][target=party2,nodead][target=party3,nodead][target=party4,nodead]
/use [combat] Medallion of the Alliance
/follow
/castsequence [combat] reset=combat ,,,Tremor Totem

Where tremor totem is staggered in the ,'s depending on which shaman's turn it is
